Robin Williams keep your sorry *ss on Nazi soil okay. Don't come back!!!! LOL, where is Nazi soil?
BTW, was I anti-American for criticizing President Clinton on foreign soil when he was Prez?

It's just comedy people. Leno is a staunch Bush supporter and makes worse jokes than this.
Set in a near future in which people can have a computer chip implanted in their brains that records their entire lives
Sounds like Arthur C. Clarke, 3001 The Final Odyssey, 1998, mixed with Philip K. Dick's We Can Remember It for You Wholesale, 1966, on custom memories, plus one other book I just can't remember right now. Still, The Matrix was good, and it was a mix of about five sci-fi classics.
And One Hour Photo wasn't bad, an interesting study on obsessiveness and loneliness. But then I know people who hated The Shawshank Redemption because they didn't get the point.

Robin Ventura.

but I don't think that buys him a pass on this, not in Berlin. So do the Bush-bashers on FR get a pass because they're in cyberspace?

I've heard that comics hate it when Williams comes to visit their shows at comedy outlets. It has been said that he mines the circuit for material and when he finds a bit to his liking, he remits a small stipend and uses the material as his own.

Or ONE HOUR PHOTO! Good movie.

Its not like Williams goes around criticizing the Prez more than any other comedian, left or right. I take this as just some presidential humour. I've heard conservative comentators joke like this. I'm not offended, and like another poster said, he supports the troops, so its all a wash..

We don't like to hear criticism of the prez in an election year, but a nation of yes men is weaker than one with criticism.Exactly.

Oh well, just another idiot to add to my "will never get another nickel of my hard earned money again" list.
Making disresptful remarks about our president in a foreign country (even under the guise of "humor") is disgusting.

I'm a staunch defender of the prez, but Robin gets a pass on this.I want very much to agree with you but I can't because the fact that they choose to debut these attacks on Bush ON FOREIGN SOIL illustrates the weakness of character invloved here.
If Robin had said this same thing in San Francisco prior to saying it in Berlin, then fine, I could agree for the same reasons you mentioned.
The incessant need these people have to be accepted and idolized wherever they may be trumps time and again their respect for our country.

Is anyone who disagrees with anything, even one action, by Bush qualify to you as a Bush Basher? I voted for him and will do so again. But I'm not going to pretend that I'm on board for everything he's tried (eg. immigration reform, medicare reform). If I think he's not getting his message out strongly enough, especially when there are more fence sitters than ever, I'm going to remark on it. This is a discussion forum not a circle jerk.

In Berlin, ridiculing the President ... I get the impression Williams isn't dependant on country music fans for his livelihood.
On the bright side, he won't be showing up on the cover of Rolling Stone wearing next to nothing.

(Just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary. You have the right to be wrong.)

Manic, unfunny goofball..... His act gets old real fast. He basically plays the same person is just about every movie he makes, his 15 minutes of fame was up a long, long time ago.
