Given how hairy Williams is how would we know?Anything remotely resembling a goofy-looking chimp would raise suspicions.

(Just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary. You have the right to be wrong.)

Comedians make fun of every president and a good number of other politicians no matter which party they belong to. SNL and the late night show hosts did and still do some wicked stuff on both Clintons. I remember some hysterical SNL skits on Carter. Should Bush be off limits to comedians because he's Republican?
This is the way life is. Grow up and get used to it.

They'll never get me to vote for another democrat..NEVER. They say these things where they are safe. What do they do, hand pick their audiences? SHEESH
Why are all the actors and comedians liberals? Are conservatives not creative and funny? GRRRRR
Oh wait..I know what..hollywood shuns conservatives so they have to stay in the closet.
Isn't that DISCRIMINATION, and PREJUDGING...EVERYTHING LIBERALS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE AGAINST? Up with the people, right? As long as they act like big babies, they should be treated like big babies.
SCUSE ME...I just had a big emotional rant. It's over now.

Why do you ask me this? I have no problem with someone bashing Bush. Robin has the right to say what he did. It doesn't bother me.

when Robin Williams turned the news conference for Omar Naim's sci-fi thriller "The Final Cut" into a free-association comedy routine. Shouldn't COMEDY be in quotes, and prefaced by the words "so-called"?

Then he must be doing something, maybe many things, right. Same thought that I had. The Hollywood Left is an "Alice in Wonderland" barometer for proper behavior. Whatever they celebrate and approve of is precisely what you ought not to do; whatever they ridicule and despise is correct.

Its not like Williams goes around criticizing the Prez more than any other comedian, left or right. I take this as just some presidential humour. I've heard conservative comentators joke like this. I'm not offended, and like another poster said, he supports the troops, so its all a wash..
I agree...Hey people gotta have a sense of humor or we would all go crazy and be killing each other.

Yes just like Heavy Metal, you can learn all about Christianity if you first know that everything they say and do is the opposite of what you should believe and do.

The foreign soil thing is an admonition for federal employees and generally advised for all citizens, but it's not required if you're not an employee.
The guy has paid his dues. He gets a pass.

I was thinking along the lines of what the dixie chicks did. Did you think they should have been allowed to do that too?
I'm not criticizing you, just trying to understand your reasoning.

Yeah, understood. The Dixie Chicks have paid no dues. The foreign soil thing is a recommendation for proper behavior. It's rudeness, not a violation of law.
A guy who pays his dues with the troops at Xmas is . . . we won't say entitled . . . we'll say excused occasional rudeness.

Flame away, but as much as I hate his politics, he does attack both sides, thought the left is often attacked less. Also, he tours for the troops and brings them laughter in a much needed time. That counts for much in my book. I like Williams when he is just being zany, not preachy.
