Maybe, after I learn how to post the thread the way you guys do. :-)
I know more about Nascar and racing than I do HTML etc.

Tell me why Johnny Benson, Jimmy Spencer, Dave Blaney, and Mike Skinner are not in this race. I know Benson has the pole for the Bush race. I am so confused! lol

Thanks for the running scoreboard today. I had to leave and clean up the greenhouse and soak some peat pellets so Wifey Poo could start her Sweet Pea seeds. We had the first day of sunshine in 2 weeks today...

Thanks, it was my pleasure to try and keep up with qualifying. I wish I had put Newman up there in my fantasy team for qualifying. I had him there and then I changed my mind which was not a smart move on my part. I just figured he probably would not be the winner of the race so I picked two others for a choice for top spot. My others all did pretty well, top 15, I think. Except for the top two choices who qualified bad, but not unusual. (Kenseth & Busch)
Good luck to all on Sunday. Is anyone here tomorrow for the Busch race?

As I stated earlier, I am a newbie to Fantasy racing and I missed the deadline to change my choice from last week. Right now Ryan looks good while JJ stumbled and the rest are A OK...

Lessee if I got the stories straight...
Johnny Benson - Running full-time in the Busch series in the Finch Yellow #1, had a 1-race deal to run the Finch #09 part-time Winsto...er, Nextel team in the Daytona 500 (dunno why Joe Ruttman is running the car this week, though that $40,000 or so NASCAR allegedly gave some part-time and ARCA teams to show up may have something to do with it).
Jimmy Spencer - Ultra Motorsports closed up their #7 Winsto...er, Nextel shop after the Daytona 500 because they had no sponsors.
Dave Blaney - Wheelen was a 1-race sponsor for Bill Davis Racing, so they closed up the #23 team that Blaney used for the Daytona 500 and the Bud Shootout after Blaney got fired from the Jaspe...er, Penske #77 For...er Dodge.
Mike Skinner - Racing full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series (which is not racing this weekend), had a 1-race deal to run a 4th Richard Childress Chevy for the Daytona 500 (also had a 1-race deal from MBV/MB2 to run the Shootout because he won a pole in the MB2 Army #01 last year while subbing in the car).

I don't take Kenseth to qualify, just finish (I let Rocket Man do my qualifying because the top 4 are good for bonus points, 10/5/3/1 in order, as long as they're on the roster :-)
Looks like it's going to be the old guys and the Yanks on my team this weekend.

Thanks for the update on those drivers. What was the cut off date to change drivers for the Fantasy League?

Enjoy the race. Keep in mind that this is probably the last Rockingham race - ever. NASCAR owns the track and will decide it's fate by this spring in order to set up next year's schedule. The TV report I saw mentioned that the decision has already been made - the Rock is history...

What was the cut off date to change drivers for the Fantasy League? WS, clarification? To change drivers for qualifying, I believe it's 2 am Pacific the day of qualifying. To change the active drivers, it's 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the race.

I guess Rockingham and Darlington are doomed since they don't fit that 1.5 mile tri-oval blueprint that NASCAR likes so much.
