As one irishman to another---Mike McCarthy ,you are just looking for something to fight about. FR does not fit into much of anything you posit. Go to the pub tonite and celebrate St. Patrick's day and you will feel better tomorrow. You will probably find a kindred soul who will philosophize till he has you on the other side of whatever issue you support. You know we have fun that way. FR is different things to different people but the common thread I see is a desire to keep America free. President Bush has demonstrated that he is committed to that as well. Ah! So you are currently enveloped in "The Cloud Of Dumb"? (friend of mine uses that phrase to describe the way the teenage unit perceives the parent at this time of life. JR is heading for more "fair use" trouble because of the partisanship on this forum. In the last case, they testified under oath that they do not stiffle opposing opinion. It was not true then and the problem is worse now. He needs to get the bots under control. The responses I get from him suggest that he trying to promote conservatism buy getting Rs elected no matter what. Unfortunately, those of us in the property rights fight, have been unable to show him that his Rs are part of the problem not the solution.

Actions speak louder than words and the disclaimer won't protect him in another law suit. He has already lost once and is heading down the same road again. Another loss will do FR in.

Is posting on FR a right or a privelege? As Freepers state over and over... "It is Jim's living room, and they will abide by his rules."

And is it Robinson's responsiblity to open the door to all offensive chatter? FR would then devolve into a wrestling match, and have no redeeming value. Doesn't this let the trolls win?

I always thought that each one of us was responsible for our own speech.
