Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) is seen in this undated photo with his siblings, from left, Cam, Diana, and, right, Peggy. Kerry did grow up in a world of elite private schools, and vacations on a French estate, but his parents, a U.S. diplomat and a homemaker, had to turn to a wealthy, childless great-aunt, Clara Winthrop, to help pay the bills. Democratic prsidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites)'s father, Richard Kerry, seen in this undated photo while serving in the Army Air Corps, was a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School. When invited to the Forbes estate in France by a friend, Richard Kerry met Rosemary Forbes. They married, and he later took a post in the diplomatic corps. (AP Photo/Courtesy of John Kerry)
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites)'s mother Rosemary Forbes Kerry, seen in this image from 1940, was a member of the affluent Forbes shipping family and a descendent of John Winthrop, who helped found Boston in 1630. She was one of 11 children, which thinned the family fortune. Her father was an international businessman, and she spent her early years in France at the family's estate.
Bills Mom and Roger
Socks (Now in the Federal Feline Witness Protection Program and living under a bed in Virginia)
I know his dad was a lefty loon, but you also have to wonder how much Kerry's scarey appearance affected his (non) personality...
If that is Bills Mom and Roger, Who is that dork on the left :-)
LOL Oh if only that poor cat could/would talk. It's probably down to it's ninth life after living with Billary for all those years!
...but Kerry knows the sad, sad truth. It doesn't have to be true -- you just have to say it enough, and people will believe it:
* "Iraq is a quagmire, a disaster";
* "The economy is in the tank, the decline started with Bush, and hasn't gotten any better";
* "Everybody is out of work, and it's not getting any better."
* "George W. Bush is dumb"
* "The democrats care about the common person, Republicans take care of the young rich white male."
* "Republicans don't care about the environment"
* "Bush didn't get international support. He acted 'unilaterally'."
Of course, it goes both ways, but Kerry has just been making me sick with it -- he can't say a single word of truth. It must be pretty hard when you have to lie about everything to try to give people a reason to vote for you.
P.S. It's pretty dang arrogant for Kerry and all the arm-chair generals (ret.) to think that they could have successfully carried out an invasion and an occupation of over 1 year, with fewer than 1000 casualties (and 100+ of those from non-combat accidents). (Bush let the military run the war, instead of micro-managing like LBJ did with Vietnam. He just said, "No, 1XX,000 troops plus rockets, missiles, artillery, armor, and air support are overwhelming force. We'll attack sooner rather than later, keep the cost down, and not invest too much of our military (3XX,000 troops) in one theater. Like it or not, Bush and Rumsfeld were right.) (...not to mention all the damage Kerry is doing to the pre-infant Iraqi government by encouraging and inspiring their (and our) enemies.)
The Point:
Keep saying it, and it will "become true". The masses, after all, are asses. (spoon-fed "Good Morning America", "The View", 30-second evening news blurbs, and 5th grade newspapers and magazines.)
