Go Limbaugh! Go Limbaugh!

I don't condemn Rush.
[But I don't listen to that bag of wind, either.]

He did receive some condemnation on FR.
Most of this is a misunderstanding of his point that much of the self flagellation we are experiencing is indeed political.
I have not listened to Rush in years, as I find that I get kinda bored listening to myself. (we are mostly in agreement)
But I will not criticize him for his mostly correct view on this, because it is true!
It is just as true that the pictures were disgusting.

Rush over-trivialized the abuse of the Iraqi prisoners, the question is why did he do it.
I know that we a re in a ratings sweeps period for television, but are we in a radio sweeps rating period as well?
If so, then there would be no question in my mind that Rush was purposely provocative in order to cause controversy and increase his audience for the duration of the sweeps.

He's not a bag of wind. Perhaps I ought to have used other words to describe Rush. A few that I can think of are:
pompous, arrogant, smug, self-centered, egotistical...I think you're getting the picture.
If you think that Rush helps the Conservative cause you're very wrong. He's largely preaching to the choir. He has turned off a good many folk who would otherwise be our allies; he has made Conservatives a laughing stock to many who might be more open to reason.

Yer right, a bag of wind has more substance than that service avoiding lardass. And, Limbaugh is on the air, worldwide, reaching uncounted millions, influencing the political dynamic in myriad ways....whereas, you....are not.

I don't know where Limbaugh is coming from. Maybe putting a leash on a naked frat brother and having your girlfriend lead him around is an experience of Limbaughs, but most people would consider it a little weird. I imagine a soldier in Iraq appreciates that the frat brothers are having fun while he has to worry about the next attack generated by the frat boy pictures. Come on people, get real, this is causing some real problems and endangering our troops!

After spending seven hours in the trenches of the whacko liberal left in my inner city high school, trust me listening to Rush on the drive home is a literal breath of fresh air. Yes he's pretentious (Talent on LOAN from GAWD!!!) but the fact of the matter is that he drives the liberals into seething fits of fury and that's a good thing, IMHO.

The Democrat Party is rejoicing in their apparent opportunity to create another vietnam. They are going to be dancing because bad news for the USA is good news for the Democrat Party.
They want to go back to the 60's. They want to rejoin the idiots sitting naked in the mud at woodstock waiting for adults to bring them food. They want to go back to condeming the USA in the fight against comunism.
This can be used to blame the Democrat Party for the current state of military training. Did Kerry vote to reduce training for MP and Reservists? I bet he did.

Hum so people get really upset at the diversity life style, espoused by the liberal's in america.
The only reason they are really upset, is they weren't invited to the fun and games, and have to pay for this form of humiliation.

I love that windbag - and I don't care what you think of Rush. Your opinions about Rush carry about as much weight with me as France's opinion about the U.S....

I am a Rush 24/7 member, so obviously I'm not condemning him, but I do condemn his approach to this. The soldiers and their superiors deserve to be punished. I agree with President Bush that this isn't the kind of stuff we do, it's what we're trying to prevent. Yeah the media and the left will blow this out of all proportion but Limbaugh trivializing it doesn't help either.
