They are:
"Angered over the punishment, Greenwood contacted a lawyer, who said he reported the Internet incident to the FBI and federal child abuse officials.
"This either represents a serious error in judgment or an intentional criminal act," said Kenneth Mollins, the lawyer, adding that the family is planning to sue the school."

From a quick search, it appears the school is Episcopal. And that is enough said.

Kenneth Mollins?! He's the ambulance chaser shaking down nursing homes, left and right.

Something is not right. How does a six grader find his teacher's gay homepage? I don't buy that excuse that he was looking for it. If you read the full article you will see the boy got to it by clicking on a link in an email respose from the teacher.
So the teacher SENT IT TO HIM ! That's how he got it. Looks like a good way for a pedophile to recruit, don't you think??

Two Problems that will keep anything from being done to the teacher.
He is Gay
He is Black. If he was a she it would be a PC hat trick.

Homosexual Agenda Ping + Where Is The Rest Of The Story?
Maybe any Freepers from that area can find out the missing parts.
Why would the child be punished? Why would a "gay" teacher with a "racy" (i.e. perverted and disgusting) webpage be allowed to teach at a Catholic school, especially now he's found out?
If you homeschool your kids, this kind of thing will never happen.
This stinks. I hope the parents raise a huge ruckus, after pulling their kid out, and sue the school and the teacher. And continue to teach their kid right from wrong, since he must be really confused by now.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

The problem with perversion is that it is progressive.

And continue to teach their kid right from wrong, since he must be really confused by now. Right and wrong, male and female, up and down, aren't those just tired old cliche's anyway? Isn't this just Orwellian Doublespeak for trying to impose a limited viewpoint on young minds before they can establish the creativity to explore the world in the freedom that G-d meant? Isn't one man's anus just another man's vagina anyway? I mean, who are you or anyone else to say that black is black, and white is white? If this teacher wants to look at a beefy man and see a sexy woman, who are you to say he is wrong, or even that he is a man?
It is now 1984. Set your watch accordingly.
Shalom.

A Parochial school that retains and supports a gay teacher?
I'm Shocked I tell you, SHOCKED!
To: little jeremiah
If you homeschool your kids, this kind of thing will never happen. Yes, I've been planning to homeschool my kids ever since I got my first taste of public school... if I have kids that is. The only saving grace about my public school was that it was in a 1500-person town in the middle of Iowa and thus we had no PC snobs to wreck it more than the government already had.
In any case, it's not surprising me, considering that it's an Episcopal school. More corruption of the churches. Bleh!
