Gonna have to disagree with you a little on that comment.
Clinton is afraid to confront anyone he thinks will fire back. He only goes on friendly shows, does friendly interviews, etc.
Whether it's because he's afraid he will lose control (a well-founded fear apparently) or afraid of confrontation, I don't know.
But he's had nothing but sycophants around him for years.
And Hillary had to do the confronting with Juanita.
Don't pull your passive/aggressive crap on me, OV. I see straight through you and you know it.
I watched one minute of Oprah and it happened to be when she mildly challenged him on the couch story. He stated it "started at Martha's Vineyard" and implied it continued on back at the WH. What a loon.
Of course, nobody in their right mind believes he ever slept on the couch (which explains why Dan Rather believes him).
But this segment wasn't "friendly", that's the point. There is no opportunity to take anyone on when the interviewer is Rather and Larry King.
He ONLY talks to people who don't challenge him! That's why he's so upset with this guy!
You won't see him OR her anywhere near somebody who would actually ask a follow up question or contradict him.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
what the hell are you talking about? none of my comments have anything to do with you personally at all.
I know, I'm only using this as an example of what happens in those cases.
bump
BINGO .. Hellary has the same problem
Obviously, he expected it to be friendly ... I mean he WAS in Britain.
Sorry, but I don't see any courage in the man.
who are you, Sigmund Freud? give me a break.
I clicked it off right at this point.
I took a peek just to get an idea of demeanor and tone of the thing and like you--saw enough very quickly. CLICK
I remember before he got elected, him losing control in an interview. He went all read in the face and got this ugly, ugly look. He looked like the devil incarnate, which he may be.
How's about we let the people decide? Here are yours posts within 6 mins.

I just saw it. I will say this:
yes, he's a sicko. you can really see what Juanita Broaderick must have seen. he's a liar, he's delusional.
however, from a purely political point of view - he's not afraid to confront his opponents directly. regardless of whether we agree with what he has to say, what we think, he's not afraid to take on his enemies. our side, from a purely political point of view, could learn something from that.

And here's the agressive:
"To: A Citizen Reporter
Flame me if you must, but I stand by that.
Did you see Rumsfeld's last press conference? For the first time since the Abu Ghraib scandal broke (what is it, 5 weeks now?), he finally went toe to toe with the media - directly challenging their assertion that everything is defined as "torture". And he was effective.
That's whats missing on out side - we know the media is hurting Bush, yet I don't see the fight in him."

and your "oh for corn's sake!" comment about what I posted should be sandwiched in between there, that's why I said "flame me if you must". which is OK with me by the way.
are you a pysch major?
LOL! hilarious!
Because they can?
