If the combination of the actions of Berger and the subsequent phone call to Bruce Lindsay, Clarke's inferences, Wilson's "lies", and Bubba testifying at the 9-11 hearings with BOTH Berger and Bruce Lindsay at his side doesn't make for a conspiracy, I'll eat my hat.

Maybe he destroyed anything suggesting a link between the OKC bombing and international terrorists. Just pure speculation, but that sort of info would be worth taking a big dive for, IMHO.

We keep saying, copies, copies, copies but there is access to originals also. Please, never think that there is no way anyone can eliminate both originals and copies. It's all a matter of security and Berger broke through this several times as we are told.

You know, I am reading all of these comments and I can't figure out what this proof of. You say that portions of this was lifted directly off Top Secret documents that Burglar stole. If the docs were secret how do we know this was lifted from them?

I just don't get what all this excitement is about. What am I missing here that is so obvious to everyone else?

This is stuff that Kerry used in his campaign speech. Where did he get this information? I wondered about it when he used it. I also thought he was giving information to the terrorists with his lists of unprotected places, but that's another story.

Since the part about ports was apparently contained in the docs Berger er...um...removed and "displaced," it may just be that he handed the material to Kerry, and that may be why it is now removed from Kerry's site.

This is not correct, Grampa Dave. The document was cleansed from the Kerry site *before* I made my first post. That is in fact why I posted what I did. The document was *already* gone from the Kerry site, but Google still had it in cache.

The ASSUMPTION is that Kerry lifted materials than can probably be TRACED back to the documents stolen by Berger, and that is why they were so quick to yank that speech from his website yesterday. Out of sight, out of mind. Obviously, you are correct in that if it is truly secret, how would we know?

The amazing coincidences here are that:

Berger is close to the Clintons;

Berger served as advisor to John Edwards and now John Kerry;

Berger had access to secret documents;

The subject of those documents (port security) happen to appear in speeches by Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, who haven't even been briefed on the security yet;

When Berger's investigation catches fire on the news, the Kerry Campaign immediately drops the security speech from the Kerry Website.
