Wed Jul 21, 2:04 PM ET AP Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), D-Mass., is interviewed by the Associated Press on his campaign plane, while flying towards Phoenix, Ariz., Tuesday, June 29, 2004. During the interview Kerry said life offers too much 'twist of fate' to think in such grandiose terms as destiny. 'When you lose Robert Kennedy, you lose John Kennedy, you lose Martin Luther King, you lose your very closest friends, you lose both your parents ... you just know every day is every day.' According to the WSJ article the purloined documents were after action reports or evaluations by Richard Clarke, which delineated the success or failure of the Clinton security policy for the millennium and recommended changes. So, may we assume that the Kerry plan, as laid out here, closely approximated those recommendations?

I don't know if someone tried this, but I just checked the Wayback Machine website archive for his site.
It looks like it was being archived for years... until June of 2003. To keep a site from being archived you have to deliberately insert a bot program to make the webcrawler skip over it and not document the site contents.... interesting that he wouldn't want his site recorded.

Last December, John Kerry addressed the Council on Foreign Relations and outlined a global vision to make America safer and more secure. Today, he is detailing the terrorism component of that vision, strengthening the nations position in the global war on terror.

To improve security in commerce, John Kerry believes we should accelerate the timetable for the action plans agreed to in the U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico smart border accords as well as implement security measures for cross-border bridges.
Finally John Kerry will pursue modest safety standards for privately held infrastructure and will help owners find economical ways to pay for increased security. Get ready small business to turn your pockets inside out. ROFLOL

Rush was talking about some of this today .. did you hear him ..??
Rush said he wondered where Kerry got the information when he gave that speech about his waterfront plan on terrorism .. since the Kerry campaign had refused intel briefings .. and Rush wondered if Berger was feeding the info to Kerry (because one of the reports missing was a report detailing America's weaknesses). This info could have been used by Kerry to write up his plan - taking advantage of that CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.
So not only did Berger take the stuff .. he may have passed it to someone who was not cleared to receive it. This was not a good plan for Berger.
And .. if Bill Clinton put Berger up to it .. I'm hoping Berger blows the whistle .. and sinks the Clinton boat. Besides, Berger has nothing to lose but his life .. he's already killed his career in govt service.
