The logistics seem a bit confused, don't they?

For a while they were talking about a stadium in Reston or Herndon. Don't they realize that westbound I-66 (from DC to the NoVA burbs) is a bottlenecked traffic nightmare from 3PM to 8PM? How would people inside the Beltway get to the games?

Then there was the hoopla about a stadium in Arlington, but again, try to find the space with the right weekday traffic logistics and you'll come up empty.

Then back to the resurrection of RFK, which I suppose is a sensible best if and only if they can guarantee the safety of the fans. That part of DC is not known for its safety and security record, and I think people might be afraid to go there for games, esp at night.

The best solutiuon really is a new stadium in downtown DC, with access to Metro and relatively-easier inbound traffic patterns during outbound rush hour.
