The logistics seem a bit confused, don't they?
For a while they were talking about a stadium in Reston or Herndon. Don't they realize that westbound I-66 (from DC to the NoVA burbs) is a bottlenecked traffic nightmare from 3PM to 8PM? How would people inside the Beltway get to the games?
Then there was the hoopla about a stadium in Arlington, but again, try to find the space with the right weekday traffic logistics and you'll come up empty.
Then back to the resurrection of RFK, which I suppose is a sensible best if and only if they can guarantee the safety of the fans. That part of DC is not known for its safety and security record, and I think people might be afraid to go there for games, esp at night.
The best solutiuon really is a new stadium in downtown DC, with access to Metro and relatively-easier inbound traffic patterns during outbound rush hour.

Good theme songs for Kerry campaign

"Baby You're a Rich Man"--Beatles
"Flip Flop and Fly"--Cab Calloway
Ping back at ya.
Just realized that this thread is over two months old.
When the stands are empty in four or five years, people will be saying, "What were we thinking?"
Better leave all the guns up north, fellas. But crack will be plentiful in DC; count on it.
Forgot I pinged for it in July.
Well got to go to work, keep track of Imus.
