Actually there is a lot of talk that if DC gets the team, it will be named the Grays in homage to the old Washington Negro League team.
This is, of course, finally happening just as I am moving away from DC.....

I think that would be a great honor...

I'm sure Angelos's hissy fit will draw yawns from the Mets/Yankees, Cubs/White Sox, Dodgers/Angels, Giants/Athletics...No doubt, my friend.
My wife, son, and I have come up with a new noun, the meaning of which is "the physical manifestation of a hissy fit."
It's called hissyfitonics.

Now the Washington seems to have the prospects of a baseball team, maybe they can get a NFL team.

These guys should be happy. If you're hitting .305, that's only .226 Canadian.

Have your family rate Angelos's hissyfitonics on a scale of 1-10 when MLB sends les Expos to his backyard and post the ratings here on FR... LOL!
Pesonally, I'd love the see a DC area Senators team in NL East... The first two versions were/are AL teams (Twins/Rangers)

Are they going to change the name of "Damn Yankees" to "Damn Braves"?

Here in Philly, they are known as the stinkin' Braves. :-)
Wowsers, It didn't even register that the new Senators would be an NL team. It would be great to have a real team playing in RFK again. If only temporarily.
My brothers are going to be SOOOOOO happy.

Cheering for the losing home town team, year after year after year stiffens the spine. So how IS Boston this time of year? ;)
