Let's try this again..

Zot theme

(Indian drums throughout)
(Indian war whoops)

(That famous day in history the trolls of the DU Cavalry went riding on)
(And from the rear a voice was heard)
(A brave young man with a trembling word rang loud and clear)
Why am I postin' here??

Please I'm a troll sir, I don't wanna go
Hey, I'm a troll sir, please don't make me go
I had a dream last night about the comin' fight
Somebody yelled "A Cat!"
And there I stood with El Gato on my back.

Please I'm a troll sir, I don't wanna go (ZOT him, Ho!!)--aaww

SPOKEN: Look at them posts out there
They move
And there's a Mod behind every one!
Hey, Mr. Mod sir -you mind if I be excused the rest of the afternoon?
HEY CHARLIE, DUCK YER HEAD!! (sound of thunder)
Hmm, you're a little bit late on that one, Charlie
Hooh, I bet that smarts!

(They were sure of victory, the trolls of the DU Cavalry, as they post on)
(But then from the rear a voice was heard)
(That same brave voice with the trembling word rang loud and clear)
Why am I postin' here??

Please I'm a troll sir, I don't wanna go
Listen, I'm a troll sir, please don't make me go
There's a Mod a-waitin' out there, just fixin to take my hair
A coward I've been called cuz I don't wanna wind up Zotted and bald

Please I'm a troll sir, I don't wanna go (ZOT him, HO!!)--aaww

SPOKEN: I wonder what the Mod word for friend is
Let's see--friend-- kemo sabe, that's it
KEMO SABE!, HEY OUT THERE, KEMO SABE! (sound of static sparking)
Nope, that itn't it
Look at them durned Mods
Theyre runnin' around like a bunch of wild Indians-heh, heh, heh
Nah, this ain't no time for jokin'
(sound of 60 cycle humming)
(sound of thunder)

Problem with these trolls is that if you zot one, they reproduce. They remind me of the movie "Gremlins." One or two fuzzy, cooing little trolls might be cute, but when you get a whole building full of them it gets really nasty.....kinda like the DU.

Awww... you've been paved. A lovely bouquet of coneflowers to mark your grease spot, I think.

Now you know why we don't use the water cannons on them - they'll breed!

As silly as it sounds it is a very valid question for it goes to the roots of multiculturalism, diversity, compassion and just plain emotionalism; sovereign powers rule over territory while ideals rule men's minds, where the two meet there is little unrest although there may be extreme dissatisfaction. Here, today, in America we are engaged in a massive social experiment in accommodation that is proving, by degrees, to be disruptive rather than unifying and puzzling, rather than edifying.

We find ourselves faced with a clearly identified enemy and a leadership reluctant to recognize the pure motives of those opposed to our rather Laissez Faire approach to too many internal cautions and a seeming lack of attention to future outcomes.

Our vulnerablity is our strength as an afterthought only, but our attention span grows shorter with each passing year as the memories of past affronts dim with the passage of time so that now we are more concerned about whether the Trade Center's collapse was more of an architechural problem or one of deserved failure due to pride.

We are encouraged to embrace the language of the philosopher while we turn a deaf ear to the cry of the warrior.

Complacency has been for so many years a refuge from the belching bile from the upset stomach of the great beast that lurks just off our shores; now that he is fully dyspepsic, we run to the medicine cabinet - not for an antacid, but for a sleeping pill.

It may prove to be a long night.

“Tribal sovereignty means that—it’s sovereignty. I mean, you’re a—you’re a—you’ve been given sovereignty and you’re viewed as a sovereign entity.” -- Bush, according to your source

vs.

"I think we have to recognize that the Native American community, which has not been recognized, has as much desire, has as much interest and is as prepared and is as capable and always has protected America with as much zeal as any other community, and we ought to trust it and provide the funding necessary as a separate jurisdiction where that coordination is not absolutely necessary." --- Kerry, according to CNN transcript

Kerry's statement is contorted bullshiess, but I reckon it sounds more 'intellectual' to you because his comment was composed mostly of four-sylable words. Nevermind that they were strung together as incoherently as anything Bush ever voiced. Kerry relies on the "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bullshnit" method.

Webster's:

Sov´er`eign`ty
n. 1. The quality or state of being sovereign, or...

Looks like Bush wasn't wrong. Kerry, on the other hand, seems to have confused sovereignty with DEPENDENCE. How can one be sovereign if you require external funding?

And why would you, a lib, want to bring up sovereignty knowing that Kerry thinks we should surrender ours to the United Nations?

Isn't the Native American sovereignty issue just a method for liberals to keep American indians on the reservation?

As far as conservatives are concerned, Native American sovereignty = no taxes.

;o)
