Thanks for the reply. I am in the military and my experience in Germany is they do have a diverse culture with or without the US military. I've met people from all over the world there. So, the article posted was absurd to me.
If the author wants to see countries with no or little multicultural experience, all he has to do is look any Arab, Asian, African, or Latin country.

Well, actually it costs less. But the government was/is charging EXORBITANT surcharges on freon to make the cost so high that folks would be forced to take on the replacement. I was a Purchasing Manager for a company for 18 years and was blown away by the cost of freons we bought. Salespeople and our management/owners kept me abreast of the surcharges.Let's all rush out and buy some "Beano" for the cows..... to save the planet, ya know!
