Why do they keep calling them Chechen rebels? Call a spade a spade.

Last week I had dinner with a bunch of liberals. They were almost hysterical when I said we were in a religious war with Islam. They denied it up and down, carried on about it's a religion of peace, blah blah blah. Well tonight I saw them again and brought up the school hostage situation. They had NO IDEA that Chechen rebels = Islamic terrorists. You should have seen their faces. They were speechless.

Officials said the smoke came from a burning car near the school. It was not clear what caused the explosion.

The explosion was caused by an RPG fired by the terrorists. They try to ruin everything around the school because a few kids ran away from some place they were hiding.

It's strange that people hear about armed men with strapped explosives to their bodies and don't immediately think "Radical Islam". Slow as snails. That's what the media did to them.

Russia never learns to stay away from this area. The Russians bungled their opportunity to let those people have their own country and tried a moronic "iron hand" policy but only showed a clay fist in 1994. As messed up as it sounds, Stalin knew what to do to actually calm the area down, deport the whole population.

Now, the islamic crazies are part of this battle, so it only gets escalated from here. I feel for these children but not for Russia. Russia is not our friends and grow richer by human misery.
