10 POINTS is SLIGHT LEAD????
Kerry's bounce of +/- 1% was also called slight.
What are these people smoking!>??
Its only a "slight" lead...
If frikin Kerry was up by that amount, it would be a "commanding" lead and that the Republicans would be "panicked".....
I can't wait to see the polls next week. Bush 60..Kerry 30..something like that. At least that's what I'm hoping when the fake documents are proven.
I cannot believe it. A "slight" lead..... When Kerry had a "slight" seven point lead it was a "COMMANDING" lead...
....and he's unfit to lead....
Yea a slight lead. If it were the other way around, it would be "Kerry has strong lead and is the front runner latest poll shows". But with Bush it is a slight lead---of 8 points!!!
Its strange that likely voters favor Kerry in this poll.
Likely voters don't favor Kerry --- he's just losing by 6 instead of 8 with likely voters.
You have preempted my thoughts in your reply!
It is only going to increase from now until November. : )
You can almost feel how pee Oh'ed this reporter is..... "...the Republican is considered significantly more decisive, strong and likable than Kerry".... Just the facts, nothing but the facts, Jack Webb...no color...no opinion. He's considered significantly more decisive, strong and likable because he IS significantly more decisive, strong and likable....sheesh!
And if Kerry was ahead in the polls this reporter would be out there with Whoopi, his hand in his crotch and lampshade on his head screaming at the top of his lungs that ding dong the witch is dead....
I'm always amazed that this total biased crap is allowed to continue in America. Just FLABERGASTED....
I didn't mean it like that.
Republicans usually gain more in polls of likely voters.
The DNC conducted a poll of "Voters likely to vote for Kerry", and found from that group less than 30% were going to vote for Kerry.
AP Poll: 9/10/04 Bush has slight lead!
Bush 51
Kerry 43
AP Election results: 11/3/04 Bush wins by narrow margin!
Bush 55
Kerry 45
AP post-election wrap up, to report a 3-part story on lack of evidence in Media bias!
Exactly. "Slight" lead, my a$$. Especially considering the last election was a "slight" victory, and we were talking tenths of a percent.
Forged NG records :-)
In the post Labor Day Gallup poll Bush has a bigger lead this year, 7 points, than FDR did in 1944, 5 points, in another war time election year. If they want to call that slight, fine. We need to keep the faithful engaged and ready to go to the polls, even though as Fred Barnes pointed out today no sitting president has ever lost with this kind of post Labor Day lead.
I'd say it's an indication that Bush's base is widening. When unlikely leaps ahead of likely then it means the buzz on your opponent is not good.
Expect to see more, "I don't like Bush but Kerry is a total loser" from more regular non-political folks.
There are two polls on the subject on CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/
Should Dan Rather and CBS News reveal the sources of the Bush memos?
Yes 35% 282 votes
No 65% 519 votes
Total: 801 votes
AND
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/
Do you think the recently released memos on President Bush's National Guard service are authentic?
Yes 52% 65829 votes
No 48% 61920 votes
Total: 127749 votes
If you are so inclined, CNN needs a little FR power!
CBS needs to reveal their source. Their good word hasn't been good in a long time.
