Burkett's emotions varied widely in the interviews. One session ended when Burkett suffered a violent seizure and collapsed in his chair""
*** In the parking lot outside, he said, he burned the ones he had been given and the envelope they were in.***
Bill Burkett should change his first name to Charcoal....Charcoal Burketts...has a nice ring to it
(watch carefully now... Read my lips, Demonrats...)
FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION?????????
LOL...yeah I bet his fingers got burned too...
Folks....we need to be DAMN SURE that we don't blast some lady named Lucy Ramirez that is different Lucy Ramirez.
I am not saying that the lady mentioned here is not the one.......I am saying that we don't need to blow a search...like Dan Rather would.
FOLLOW ALL AVENUES.
That is odd, she sounds like the last one in the world who would have access to memos. Will be interesting in what she says about Burketts charges.
on that page is a link to the democrats site... Lucy is nothing but a ruse IMO...
Deepthroat II
We discussed that in another thread.. Highly unlikely.. That Lucy Ramirez was from South Texas. The alleged document exchange occured at the Astrodome in Houston.
Lucy Ramirez wasn't even the one who made the exchange according to the Austin American-Statesman.. It was some cockamamie story about how an unknown and unidentified man gave him the documents...
Burkett is full of it and will go down as the fall guy here. If he continues to stonewall, he will just prolong his agony. The longer this goes on, the better. This is bad news for Kerry.

I was figuring more that Burkett would name Miss Scarlet, Mrs. White, Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, or Professor Plum.
That's right, we haven't heard a peep out of Botoxboy on all this. Actually, I'm not holding my breath.
There does now seem to be an issue that would call their attention.
THE DA where Burkett lives says that the issue won't be pushed unless the police investigate it first....The police...Texas Dept. of Public Safety and Rangers are waiting to see if the can even start an investigation of this sort without the DA calling on them to do so. It seems the DA is trying to dodge it.
Time for the State Atty Gen. to step in.
Funny, isn't it? The Swiftboat Vets run a few ads and the Kerry camp and all the media are falling over themselves calling for Bush to condemn them and tell them to shut up.
Then CBS pulls this crap and nary a peep.
Nope...no bias here. Move on, citizen! (/sarcasm)
Speaking of Hardball, I'm watching Chris Matthews now, and he talked about that appearance by Burkett, and what wacky claims he made on that show. Matthews is truly incredulous that this guy is CBS' unimpeachable source!
When Conn files suit against Burkett, TerAYsa will probably pay and pay and pay. What the heck. Didn't she warn us months ago that she'd buy the presidency if things got rough? Still wondering about numerous Kerry illegal fundraising activities that journalists are sitting on. Can we expect to see chapter and verse on that, too?
HELLO
Whoa...I may have spoken too soon. That dude is a US Congressman....not a State Rep.
WE NEED TO FIND OUT IF THIS CONGRESSMAN WAS AT CAMPAIGN EVENTS FOR TONY SANCHEZ (Dem who ran for Gov....and Lost). If he was at some of those....then he was at the same place as the guy who runs Texans for Truth.
That guy helped managed the campaign of Democrat Tony Sanchez.
ODDS ARE THIS CONGRESSMAN KNEW BURKETT'S LAWYER. His District runs close to San Antonio (Bexar, County).
And David Van Os, Burkett's lawyer, was a chair in Bexar County.
"It's time," Burkett said. "I'm tired of me being the bad guy. I'm tired of losing everything we've got," a reference to his financial and health struggles since he left the Guard. Turning to his wife, Nicki, he said: "We've lost it all, baby. We've lost everything."
