So basically a man was fatally injured in a fall, something that can happen while trying to clean your gutters or wash your outside windows.

Probably what made him fall just getting onto a ride had more to do with him dying in surgery than a short fall --- 4 feet is nothing.

Have to be careful using local news links -- they update stories without changing the address.

Clicking your quoted link, right now anyway, reveals he is dead.

By the time this story got to print and the way it's being reported, the poor guy had fallen in front of the ride and was mauled to bits right in front of a home video camera.

Just to clarify, is this basically a roller-coaster ride?

Jeez, My family went on that ride a week before the grand opening in April. It was still being billed as "testing".

I hate most thrill rides but my kids loved it. Even my 6 year old who normally is scared of most rides loved "The Mummy".

4 feet is nothing.

True, I've fallen flat on my back a few times from that high or higher - having my breath knocked out of me.
