"He or she is calling you a RINO and you know it."

Yes, I know what he's doing, and I couldn't possibly care less.

Bill Richardson is troubling alright. I didn't even know he was Hispanic.

You work for Larry Klayman?

Klayman. LOL. I actually got a fundraising letter in the mail from him for his senate race. How he got my name and address, I don't know.

I tossed it in the trash bin.

"Want" Rudi?

I know that this is probably a lot for an old fella like you to handle, but we're discussing the probabilities of things here.

I've expressed what I "think" may happen, and why I think that. Who I "want" has yet to enter this conversation because I truly have yet to make up my mind about 2008, a whole lot can happen between now and then.

Speaking of Larry Klayman and those Elian days...Greg Craig is working with Kerry to prep for the debates with Bush.

Yes, I include myself as part of the GOP.

The GOP that is pro-life, pro second amendment, and pro family as stated in the Republican Party Platform.

Why do you keep ignoring the point?

You are out of synch not me. True you have every right to be out of synch but I don't have to change for you.

"The GOP will have to make a decision. It will either write off the next eight years to Hillary/Barack, or run Giuliani against them; he's the only candidate out there with a chance of beating the Clinton/Obama ticket."

You posted the above and I responded in post #136 with the following: "WOW. Talk about a faulty premise."

In your post you draw flat out conclusions based on your opinion which you state as fact.

You then posted #139 which says "So, losing to Hillary would be a better option I guess."

An inflammatory statement designed to insult not discuss.

I answered with:#148 which said "Who are you? Nostradamus?

Your premise is flawed. There is no guarantee Hillary will be the nominee and if she is it is more likely a Conservative candidate could beat her. You can't out left the lefties. If the GOP loses it's social Conservative base it's toast. That's just a fact of life."

My response was accurate. You are saying that anyone that doesn't support Rudy for President wants Hillary to win, which is a bunch of cr#p and an insult to any Freeper worth their salt.

Nostradamus wasn't an insult but just a way to illustrate that you can't possibly predict that Hillary will be the candidate or that any other Republican besides Rudy is destined to lose to Hillary.

You have no idea how to debate. You have debated none of the issues that this thread was about.

Impress you? Want to meet you? You called me a liar. If I ever find out who you are in real life, you can count on us having a little "talk".

You've become boring now Log Cabin Boy so I'm going to end this discussion.

Any time you want to freepmail me and take me up on my offer to "talk" you just let me know.

For all the talk about Kerry trying to get the Cuban American vote, I couldn't believe that he picked Craig. Out of every single possible debate preparer in America?

How do you reconcile your post #346 with your post#132

#346 "I've expressed what I "think" may happen, and why I think that. Who I "want" has yet to enter this conversation because I truly have yet to make up my mind about 2008, a whole lot can happen between now and then."

and

#132 (Giuliani)he's the only candidate out there with a chance of beating the Clinton/Obama ticket."

If believe what you said in post #132 is true then how can you be undecided? Either #132 is true or #346 is true. They cannot both be true. You cannot believe that Giuliani is our only hope of victory and be "undecided".

You are lying in one of these posts. In fact you sound like Kerry in these posts.

Game, set and match Rino .

Do any of them stand for enforcing the U.S. border and cracking down on illegal aliens?

I think it depends what you mean by that. Bill Owens has been fairly strong on illegal immigration, I think, but has kept on the right side of public opinion.

If Tom Tancredo's the ideal of the immigration crowd, remember that Tancredo has been successfully demonized as a Mexican-hater, and that's not the way you win presidential elections.

It's necessary to get someone who will not only promote good immigration policy but sell that policy to the public, INCLUDING the middle, which opposes illegal immigration but is deathly afraid of being seen as intolerant.

Not real sure where the senators mentioned stand on immigration. Gov. Mark Sanford has what you'd probably consider a mixed record as guv and in Congress, and Gov. Tim Pawlenty hasn't dealt with the issue much I don't think, though he did ask some Minnesota cities to revise their ordnances that "prohibit members of the Minneapolis police department from inquiring about immigration status if such an inquiry is the sole basis for questioning or detaining an individual" on the basis of terrorism/security concerns. Also, "A big factor that contributed to Tim Pawlenty' election in 2002 was commercials he ran suggesting that immigrants with temporary visas should have in their drivers license the expiration date of their visas. One of his first actions as governor was to implement this law, marking these immigrants who legally obtained drivers licenses."

I believe life is going to work like this: George W. Wins in the next 36 days. Dick "I can kick your ___ in a heartbeat" Cheney, remaining in good health, will not only shame Hillary before the American public, he will be the one that will be in power from 2008-2016. (That is my wish)

Well, as usual you're wrong.

I believe that the New England Patriots are pretty much a a shoe in for the Lombardi Trophy this year, and that the only team that may have a chance at defeating them are the Eagles.

I like the Dallas Cowboys.

See how simple that was?

Boy, you must have inherited all that money, 'cause you sure as hell ain't all that bright.

Even if that wasn't the case, Tancredo simply does not look good on TV, and even more importantly, he's truly pissed off the GOP brass these past several years.

Sorry Rino Boy you're wrong.

You don't have a vote or any impact on how games in the NFL turn out. Your posts on 08 were definitive statements with no qualifiers. Had you qualified your statements about Giuliani they way you did with football we wouldn't even be having this argument.

You are a liar and a dissembler.

Hey...if you have anything to say to me, say it here, and quit it with the macho "I'll kick your butt" FReemails, this ain't Junior High.

It's so easy to take you guys apart!

LOL!

No, I wasn't wrong, and yes, I've made you lose it on this thread.

OK...we'll even parse the words your way:

I believe that the only team with a chance to stop the New England Patriots from winning back-to-back Superbowl titles are the Philadelphia Eagles.

I want the Dallas Cowboys to win.

Same thing, maybe somewhat more to your level of sophistication...

You're right on the money.
We have a coalition that requires a candidate who is willing to satisfy all it's members.

Giuliani is presently totally unacceptable to conservatives- but he could move more in their direction. One poster mentioned he could promise to appoint conservative justices. That wouldn't be enough in itself but in the next four years he could, in good faith, make himself acceptable to conservatives in many such ways. It would take an awful lot of work though and I don't see him accomplishing it.

It's much more likely we'll have a conservative candidate who is willing to make himself acceptable to the more liberal wing of the party.

George Allen is one such candidate, but there are others.

My own personal choice would be Bill Owens/Mitt Romney.

I fully agree that Giuliani would be anethema to many conservatives. I never said I would vote for him, only that he is at least an honest RINO who isn't a turncoat like McWhine or (Ack!) Hagel.

There! I hope that's settled. Now we can get to the real debate-should the Expos come to D.C.?
