Of course it's hollow.

Can you imagine how hard it would be for it to stay up in mid air if it was solid?

Yes it's hollow. Halliburton sucked it dry while Cheney was CEO. ;)

Vergil went there, and it was hollow but inhabited by a bunch of dead people. Dante said so.

As hollow as the head that proposed this farce of a theory.

When I was a kid, I used to think that the Earth's center was made up of solid milk chocolate. I often fantasized about digging a hole deep enough in my backyard to find it.

I think so. Trillions of tons of molten rock and metal in a strong gravitational field and under enormous pressure naturally tends to avoid the center of mass. It's Newton's Fourth Law.

"Now explorations have found rock-eating bacteria living as far as a mile below the ground. "

I wonder how often geologists encounter this and consider it to be a mile of sediment that built up over a long period with only microscopic life, instead of rock-eating and soil bacteria that haven't been there very long at all.

Teed changed his name to Koresh and founded what might today be called a cult. After buying a 300 acre tract in Florida, Koresh declared himself the messiah of a new religion.

It's a lucky thing that this was before Janet Reno.
