Did Kerry do that?

I was hearing that he kicked a very sick pregnant woman out of a private room in a hospital when he was the First District US Attorney. The husband of the pregnant woman was very upset and Kerry didn't pay any heed. But the husband said that Julia Thorne (sp?) was very nice.

I also heard that he tried to get an annulment directly from the Vatican but couldn't as there were no grounds. He would have had to document why he wasn't sufficiently mature to enter into marriage. It's a lot of detailed personal information that would go on file. And we know that Liveshot couldn't have that happen.

Interesting observation.

That's what war is - destroying an enemy until they lose the will to fight.

Something we need to keep in mind as we deal with Fallujah.

This was a Franken "gag". (I know it's hard to tell.)

Not really -- I gagged right away.

but he won the first popular vote mandate in 16 years

OK, I admit my ignorance.

Could you elaborate on this, please?

The number one thing that sunk Kerry was running against a moral president who took a stand on what he believed.

That and the Democrats fielding a sitting senator against an incumbent president. It has never been successful before, why would it work this time?

Doesn't matter how well written or researched or documented, they believe what they want. As the old proverb says 'A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still'

My chiropractor asked me if I'd seen f 9/11, I said no way, It's all lies and I would never put a penny into MM's pockets. I went out and found the website that was 38 pages of exactly what the movie showed (thank god for FR!!), what was wrong with it, and a link to proof, for every scene of the film and printed it and hand delivered it to him. I asked him yesterday before we voted what he thought of the website, he said "If you're a Kerry supporter you'll believe the movie, and if you're a bush supporter you'll believe the website" It was all I could do to keep from going off on him in his own office. Just proves that they are like ostriches with thier heads in the sand, they refuse to hear the truth no matter how obvious or how plainly it is placed into their faces.....

Not since George H.W. Bush in 1988 has a presidential candidate won more than 50% of the popular vote. Neither in 1992 nor 1996 did Clinton win a popular vote majority, and obviously, Bush did not in 2000.

Don't forget his loser running mate "silk pony" along with his low-class wife!

I say it was the elephant in the room...and not Edward's wife...it was that giant/hedious wart on his lip..that they kept trying to cover with silky poney makeup!

False alarm guys, he's being facetious. Franken has his tongue firmly in the side of his cheek with those statements.

first, i trust franken as a political strategist about as far as i can throw sen kennedy. secondy, he did not say that kerry's positions were wrong, he said how he used them in the campaign was wrong. if you listen to franken, if it were not for these issues, the only issue kerry had left was "bash bush".

Remember in 1992, Hillary Clinton said on national tv
she would take care of health-care, we'd never have to worry
about health-care again. Kerry used the same canned-talk.
