Or rifle bore cleaner. Eau de Hoppes ... ;'}
LOL thats another way to look at it...
General George S. Patton Jr. reported to the Ordnance Department on January 26, 1945: "In my opinion, the M1 Rifle is the greatest battle implement ever devised."
Who am I to argue? LOL!
Rubbish science.
This is my rifle. There are many others like it, but this one is mine ...
Women : Increased color perception, better hand eye coordination, BUT .... giving birth
Men: Strength and aggression
Thank God I'm a man. :)
This phenomenon is well-known around our house. My wife is always telling me never to argue with her retina -- and when it comes to vision, she's seldom wrong. Just last week, driving along a dark road, she said, "Watch out for the pedestrian," a full 100 feet or so before he was visible to me -- or anyone else in the car, either.
My brother asked me the other night how do 'they' know dogs can see in color. "I don't know."It's pretty easy to test. Make three doors, one red, one green, and one blue, that can be switched left, right, and center. Put food behind the red door, consistently, and no food behind the other doors. If the dog can see color, he will be able to predict which door has the food. If not, he will continue to guess at random.
Nope, the Qualia PC Patrol report a woman's favorite color to be Kerry Blue. This was recently disproved. It now appears to be Bush Blush.
"The song is one of Martin Mull's... probably my favorite, although I've not heard all of his (I did see him live in the late 1970s) and haven't heard any of them in over ten years. :')"
I did listen to Martin Mull's brilliant madness in the late 1970s. Some funny stuff.
While not a nailpolish remark, one of my 'lines' with women is "Is that MAC lipstick you are wearing?"
I think I am one of the few fellas about town who use this line - any Freeper ladies ever encountered it before?
Since there are more females, than males, I would say that it is strange that men are willing to settle for blue when it is obviously periwinkle, or royal or even baby. They have different names because they are different colors.
The extra color gene allows us to nuance our wardrobes!
The color test would not work, because dogs have very keen senses of smell. The test could be improved if the food were made inaccessible from the other doors using a cage.
(found Keith's message while seeing if he's still active on FR; thought he might have comments about the so-called Oak Island mystery)
No custom paint mixed without a note from your wife!
You see, men come from a world with 8 crayons in the box and women have the huge box of 120 with the sharpener on the side. Genetic or learned, that is life.

Color acuity is definitely heritable. Eye color correlates, with lighter eyes typically (but not always) having better acuity. Women are in general better than men, but it’s not a hard and fast thing. Color blindness is by far predominant in males, but females can also be color blind. It’s a minority of males, though, so the number of color blind females is very low.
I’ve worked in graphics all my professional life with critical color match, in apparel and furniture. Teritary colors like shades of brown or olive green are most difficult, for anybody. The light you’re viewing a swatch of color under can completely change a color, known as metameric effect. 5000° Kelvin lighting prevents this, with natural sunlight coming a very close second.
I think the observations made in this article make too much of some genetic component, though. Most men just don’t care enough to bother, having other priorities. Women put a premium on color.
Me, I don’t care for a red leaning to blue, either. The warm glow of a good red is the appeal, and contaminating it with blue kills that back.
