First of all, like a good Capitalist, he didn't call it a mandate. That is the Dimocrat talking point of the day. He said he had capital. Like money in da bank. Like 55 Senators in the Senate. A majority in the House. A majority in the state houses and a majority in the votes. Sounds like he can make a withdrawal anytime he wants to. LOL

My recommendation: These people should use some of the money from their upcoming tax relief to buy themselves a good dictionary.hey link, i think your chain is missing a you. a 5% victory is a quarter of a landslide. mandate is somewhere between just barely winning and a landslide. i think mandate sounds good to me.
btw -- why don't you find a political party with some vision and goals? the communist party is able to articulate these better than the democratic party.

As pointed out by Karl Rove (Oh how you hate him....) The only 2 Dems in the 20th Century with a larger margin (and thus a real mandate by your definition) were Lynfon Johnson and FDR.....I suppose all the rest were illigitimate?
