he's calling his win a "mandate." Hmmm... Maybe, kinda, sorta, but not really

This is more than a mandate. The history books of the future will record this election as a turning point in American
history.

Bill Clinton said he had a Mandate with 47% of the vote. A little education would do you some good. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

...lets see, GWB won 52%>47% ...5% more, GOP increased their # in both houses twice (hasn't done that in over >50+ years and keeps the WH) ...Bubba never exceeded >49% popular vote in both of his elections, yet the 'Rats/MSM were calling that a mandate. ...any more rants?

Since he actually won the election this time, he'll be running in '08 for his second term.

How in the hell is 43% of the vote a "mandate"?

Bush supporters were calling that outcome a mandate.

More of a mandate then WJC ever got. 43% of the vote wasn't it?

You do realize that the last time a 'Rat got elected with over 50% of the vote that it was in 1976? 28 years ago. Oh how that must sting. On the other hand since then three Republicans have gotten it.

Bow before our superiority!

Yeah I remember the bent one claiming a "clear mandate" after garnering 43% of the vote in '92.

This is a mandate you moron. Just because you don't like it, the MAJORITY of the nation did. That is how it works. Government 101. Perhaps some study, and less MTV is in order?
