Hmm.. I agree, but I'm not sure who's bashing our side. Internal debates about the success of strategies (and strategists) is valid political discussion. I'm beginning to think, based on the passions (and flames) arising on other threads, that maybe it would be better to wait a few weeks to have these discussions, though...

Because he was the architect behind not just Victory 2004, but also the following:
- The Republican Takeover of Texas during 1980-2004.
- Dubya's 2000 win.
- The Republican wins during the 2002 off-year elections. (The incumbent party almost never picks up seats during the off-year elections.)
- The continuing growth of Republican dominance from here on out for the next generation.
Based on the fact that you have to ask, I guess that's not very important to you.
Wonder if anyone else thinks he is a genius now....
