Get real. I was a lot more than that. If I wanted to identify one single reason, it is arrogance. The denial of the possibility that "government" does not grant rights. Government does not create jobs. Government can't feed you. Government can't get for you that which you cannot get for yourself.
"Progressives" can't entertain the possibility that they are wrong. Ever.

The title is redundant.
Cant' speak for "Ms. Progressive" supposed evil conservative parent friends, but my family makes sacrifices for our children. We worry about the future of our children. We worked for, and voted for President Bush. We knew that he was the only candidate that would fight to save my two daughters from terror.
Ms. Progressive is lucky in a way, I guess. She can sleep well at night knowing that this country has leadership that ensures we don't have to rely on what the rest of the world thinks when protecting our safety, but at the same time can feel superior to those of us who voted for W.

OK, but you never said why you voted for Kerry instead of Bush. You defend your "family values", but you don't say how Kerry's values are more like your own.
If you want to convince anyone, you need to clarify a bit.
You should know, however, than from your arrogant perspective, things are going to get very, very much worse!!
She doesn't seem to mind revisionist history being taught to her children. She doesn't seem to mind exposing her kids to what ever indoctrination the left wants to mislead him with, what ever guilt trips they want to lay on him.

Need to deconstruct this part of the letter. First off, progressives are people who allow their teenage daughters to get abortions (they are for abortion rights after all). Now how is that being a good parent? I know hundreds of conservative families that sacrifice mightily for their children including homeschooling them (I know this because that is what I do). These "progressive" parents turn their children over to the state for their indoctrination. I for one want to know what is going into my child's head and I believe that I am the best person to decide this.
As for her immoral movies/video games, why is that the "progressives" in Hollywood are being hounded by conservative parents to clean things up? Does this woman protest movies or does she agree with the "progressive" ACLU that our children should see sex and rampant violence on TV or in the movies?
What this clown has done is reverse reality to try and make the "progressive" families who voted for Kerry look better. I believe that this letter was staged, look for more of them containing the same theme in the coming weeks. The democrats are nothing but consistent....reminds me of that letter....can't remember exactly what it was about...but it was written BEFORE the event actually happened (liberals are too stupid to plan things correctly).
