The little I have read about Hollywood and the upcoming Academy Awards, I surmised that this years big winner has already been chosen. It will be "Ray", the story of Ray Charles. I have seen clips at the theater and, although I am no fan whatsoever of Jamie Fox, he and the film look brilliant.
Now, the question for the liberal elite Hollywood set will be do you reward a well deserved movie about a black man with a black cast or do you vote for Moore to make a political statement?
Then there is the "Passion" factor. Do you vote for a movie you detest because you noticed the election results and figure you need to kiss up to the audience?
I might actually watch this years award show. Sounds like Hollywood is between a rock and a hard place.
