Last time I drove up that way, another parking garage collapsed suddenly as well.

Now there's a health hazard! How Ironic.

Let's see, 9AM on a Monday morning.
Three floors collapse.
Several trapped, one pinned.
That's all?
At 9AM?
Either that's one lucky work crew, or the builder isn't very motivated to get the job done...

My husband, who is a retired postal worker, always uses that remark when he's finishing a job. I know it's only a joke to him since he's so precise with everything.

Wasn't Michael Moore spotted driving in the area that very same day?

The Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City had a similiar collapse with a new parking garage last year.

As in most gummint contracts, THE LOWEST BIDDER...... You haven't been involved in most government contracts i see. They DO NOT go to the lowest bidder. They go often to a high bidder with no experience as a minority set-aside (who's CEO is often related to the mayor).

My daughter just landed a very nice job with the gummint on Capitol Hill, working for one of the huge committes of the House. She was an A student and quite precise also. LOL!

"A concrete beam slipped, falling on the upper

The full extnt of the damage to the garage has not been determined."
