You know this is just like godless communism. They banned the use of the term 'CHRISTMAS' as well and had winter festivals instead of CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

In the spirit of the First Amendment, my liberal neighbors here in Massachusetts will be treated to the nativity scene on my front lawn, Santa on the Roof of my garage, and a large decorated Christmas tree in the front yard, with a modest blinking sign wishing them a Merry Christmas.

Oh, it will get worse. Next they'll want to use taxpayer funds to help pay for poor american muslims' trips to mecca.

What's this so called Mayor's name? Chickenlooper? I've never heard of such an animal. It must be related to the species politipooper, similar to the jackass. Yep, that's it, most asses are just like birds of a feather except they're asses and Denver has a big ass now. That town is starting to smell like San Francisco; dead fish, yuk.

I guess the Mayor is RIGHT!!!!!
1 Peter 2:6-8
6. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8. And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
Romans 9:33
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

I live in the Denver area and my liberal neighbor who is a teacher understands why "Merry Christmas" can't be used in school but is very upset that she can't have a Santa in her room or Christmas trees. They just don't get it.
What if the parade of lights had a gay Santa in a red thong with white trim holding a sign saying merry gay holidays.
Even though that would offend the majority of people - it would be PC and acceptable. Whatever

I don't understand why they don't do what my junior high choir used to do back in the 80s. At our WINTER Concert we sang a couple religious Christmas Carols, a couple Hanukkah songs, and various non-religious holiday songs (Let it snow, etc..)
All you'd have to do is add in a few more songs nowdays for Kwanzaa and Yule - wouldn't that cover just about everyone?! I just don't understand what all the fuss is about.
I certainly didn't give up my Catholic upbringing simply because I sang a couple Hanukkah songs, it was actually kinda fun! AND, I don't remember any parents protesting on either side!
To: mhking
People should just show up and start singing Christmas carols and hymns over loudspeakers and blow horns.

The Denver Post Jan.20,1905::Entire city Pauses for Prayer even at the high tide of business:Remarkable outburst of
gospel sentiment. . . noonday meetings draw congregations unprecedented in numbers." So published the DenverPost
but America yet reflected the original intent, then. We were
yet the "Christian nation" found reflected in our utterances and institutions by an honorable Supreme Court
in 1892.Now we more closely reflect the godless atheism of the failed Soviet system --and what Abu'l A'la Mawdudi, in
Islamic Law and Constitution' so aptly records of "Western
Secular Democracy . .. a divorce has been affected between
politics and religion, a sa result of this secularization,
the society, and particularly its politically active elements have ceased to attach muck or any importance to
morality and ethics."I will send Mayor Hickenlooper a
Christmas card while such sentiments are yet allowed in
America.

I have a list of all the phone numbers for all the elected officials in Denver Colorado. What I suggest we all do is call the numbers next to everyones names and hold the telephone up to the speakers of the cdplayer and play christmas carols into the phone.Mannhiem steamroller would be a great choice becasue im sure all these people know that they are rush limbaughs favorite christmas band :-) This plan would be great for after hours also when you knowthe voicemail will pick up so they will haveto wade throug dozens of christmas carols to get to thier real voiceemails :-D Elected Officials

Columnist Michelle Malkin has started the "Lump Of Coal" campaign, inviting readers to send a lump of coal to Denver's mayor, in the hopes of knocking some sense into his head. A lump of coal might make this idiot think that we are trying to solve his energy problems.
I would rather send him a Christmas Card, with "Merry Christmas" or "Oh Holy Night" prominently visible on the front in very large and festive letters.

When will this idiotic crap stop?! Why do 98% of the people continue to bend over backwards to appease to 2% of alleged "offended"? Unbelievable.
To: freepatriot32
That's a lot of Christmas cards, but worth the expense and the religious stamps attached.
: )
I'm on it!
