Just waitin' for the splash, bro.
Hiya. ;-D Just thought I'd take a look-see.
Is abortion so important that no one is willing to compromise on it? I fall nowhere on this debate, although I sympathize with pro-lifers. But, I feel the likes of Wittman annoying because they call themselves Republicans but would stab one in the back over abortion like it happened with Brett Schundler.
Exactly correct.
Radical moderate - a euphemism for ultra liberal.
And so much more.
I'm from Washington State so I can't answer...
Ask Mike Siegel of KTTH - he's from there.
We now know Washington is a state and they VOTE there, just like in NYC.
Shut up
apparently Whitman failed to notice that we have near untouchable majorities accross the board. Maybe the party is doing pretty good as it is right now.
They should try it. I don't mean nominating a conservative like Bret Schundler and then cutting him loose on a life-raft with no support - - I mean nominating a conservative like Schundler and then supporting him.
Of course, I think the New Jersey GOP is nearly as corrupt and mob-controlled as the Democrat Party there.
By the way, how's ole' DiFrancesco doing these days?
Take it easy fella! I'm just a hick out here in the territories and boys playing girls and yellin' ain't sumthin I'se be used ta.
(Frmo the above linked article:)
"There are, of course, alternative explanations for such behavior. One can simply be "in denial." That would probably best describe Republican "moderates." How else to evaluate their call for a change in strategy in spite of the winning conservative formula that has energized the GOP to repeated victories in recent years?"
She married us as we were...and wants us to change.
The GOP, she says, has to get back to its core principles of fiscal responsibility, individual freedom, protecting the environment, and US leadership in the world based on strength and wisdom, or it will lose its middle and be relegated to the minority.
I'll give her two out of four.
Fiscal Responsiblity is code language for Tax-and-Spend-Openly. Individual Freedom (she means abortion) passes even though she's forgetting about the more-vulnerable individual's freedom. Protecting the environment....whatever. Leadership on strength is her only good mark, IMO.
Agreed. 110%.
Thanks for nothing, Witless.
I was never one of those who wanted her to run for President and I was outraged that she was given the opportunity to give the republican rebuttal to slick willie's state of the union address.
