We're fighting like mad dogs to get one.
Some Dinocrats (Dems & Dems in Denial for Rossi) like I and Independents are recalling Secretary of State Sam Reed (GOP) - see http://recallreedblog.blogspot.com . That recall's provisions go before a judge on Friday in Olympia.
Also, right now the main fight - the one to require a new general gubernatorial election - is fighting a State Democratic Party intevenor move to throw the court challenge of the election from the courts to the State Dem-controlled state legislature also on Friday in Wenatchee (sp?).
So wish and pray for us, will ya?
Also, my blog http://josef-a-k.blogspot.com is covering the whole thing :-). Freepers, Dinocrats, and Republicans welcome! Gregocrats (Dems for Gregoire) NOT!

As a pragmatic voting ideological Libertarian, I have no idea why the moderate Republicans are whining so much. I've never felt ostracized by the Republicans. I would add, that back in the day when I felt more like a democrat..."they" regularly critiqued my "alternative" ideas, by simply calling me a Republican.

We're all Scoop Jackson Republicans now. I don't think there's any question the Washington State Senator would be a Republican today. The Democrats are way to the left of the guy and Zell Miller. We could use two conservative parties. (laughing)

The MSM loves any disgruntled Republican so she's getting all the air time and press space she wants. Laura Ingraham, whose book Shut Up and Sing rose to #6 on the New York Times non-fiction list, was never invited on the Today show. As soon as she caught wind of Whitman's book, she said, "How fast do you think the Today show will book her?
The answer: the next day.

Oh I realized that, just wanted to go on the record as being a NJ resident who had no use for her long before she became governor.
She was a freeholder in Somerset County and her reputation was nothing to be proud of back then.

Whitman is on C-SPAN jabbering away about right-wing extremists, the southern strategy, etc.
I keep resisting the urge to yell at the TV screen.
She's your typical RINO; constantly dissing the Republican party, trying to get us to split the party, getting into futile fights over abortion, social issues, etc.
Hey, Chrissie, we don't need two democratic parties. If you don't like social conservatives - become a democrat. Otherwise, STFU.
