Oh man. If this is true, does that mean he'll get in big trouble? Shouldn't he have told the coach so that a proper decision could have been made as to whether or not he should have been subbed?
Limbaugh was right
Limbaugh was right
Limbaugh was right
Limbaugh was right
Limbaugh was right
pressure got to him.
Maybe it was from coughing up the ball.
he was sick PERIOD! LOL
I'm not surprised to hear he was sick; the 4th quarter was not his finest hour.
What a bunch of BS...awwwwhhhhh! Whine with your cheese, fellas?
LOL!
That happens while you're choking.
I don't know is this is true, but his passes did have a dying duck quality instead of the usual zip. I chalked it up to tentativeness.
Ain't my fault we lost
Yea he was sick alright - sick of Richard Seymore and Tedy Bruschi pummeling him all day.
I think McNabb did the right thing trying to tough it out. I'd rather have McNabb with a cold than a healthy Koy Detmer.
That does partially explain the time management problem. McNabb has successfully led the Eagles in a hurry-up offense before.
I am SOOOOO glad the Pats won. (a) any team with TO on it, MUST lose. (b) now we don't have to hear any more "black q-back) crap for quite some time. Is it just me, or has that phrase ABSOLUTELY disappeared since Sunday?
If I were him there is no way I would let this get out even if I were sick.
I agree. Now all the excuses start rolling in . . . it's really no different than all the excuses John Kerry used to explain how he lost the election.
Rush was wrong about McNabb. The man is not a sportscaster.
Yes, I am an Eagles fan, and proud of it.
In game 5 of the 1997 finals, Michael Jordan was so sick with a stomach virus that he was being rehydrated on the bench with an IV at breaks. All Jordan did in that game was to score 38 points, including the decisive three-pointer with 25 seconds left. Those that want it bad enough come through when necessary, sick or no.
IF (big if) this is true, then McNabb should have taken himself out of the game.
The Eagles' time management problems -- they basically wasted the last 5 minutes of the game -- were what really lost it for them, though.
