ROFL!
Man...that was just -cold-....;))
"In any civilized society he could have remained married to all of his wives simultaneously."
Are you saying that polygamy is allowed in a "civilized society", or am I misunderstanding?
Oh good grief! I'm not even going there!
LOL - good one!
Well no YEEEEEHAHHHHH for Judy then !
And military men should never be married, right? What kind of man would purposely take a job which separates him from his wife and family?
Or does that only apply to jobs you LIKE?
I know someone that met her parents. From what I remember, her father is quite personable, and was still
practicing medicine in his 80s. (a few years back).
The same person said a couple of patients of Judy Stein, MD, said that she is quite competent, but not personable.
And that they would rather have a doctor that knows what she is doing, to some con artist that makes them
feel good, self esteem-wise, but not actually fixing the malady.
(internal medicine, iirc)
Look, Howie left his church over a dispute about bike paths.
And the USSC, albeit 20 or so years later, said that then State Rep. Dean's bill was unConstitutional.
So, you got to think something's amiss with your spouse if he's is willing to give up his
religion over something as trivial as a bike path, AND his attempt to screw property owners is validated
by even the left-leaning USSC.
So Judy feels safe sticking to what she knows, and doesn't want to rock Howard's boat. Big deal.
"Or does that only apply to jobs you LIKE?"
Contextually speaking, that comment doesn't even make any sense.
And FYI, I ~was~ a military wife so you'll have to resort to some other ad hominem snipe in order to peg me as one "type" or another.
My goodness, the spirit of bellicosity is certainly with us all tonight.
God forbid anyone dare champion the concept of "traditional marriage" on a conservative forum.
Have a nice day.
I think this whole thread desrves a "big deal", myself.
I have no idea why it degenerated it into WW3.
I don't care for her husband's politics and whatever involvement they have in the abortion issue but personally, I couldn't possibly care less where either of them go or don't go.
I made an offhand jest and have gotten an inordinate amount of grief for it.
This used to be a place where *your* opinion was allowed even if it was not agreed with.
I guess times change.
Interestingly enough, others on this thread who voiced the same opinion have been left relatively unscathed as were those who made actual insultory comments about her looks.
[which I find pleasant enough, if not textbook "beautiful", as though *that* matters a whit]
Apparently there are a lot of "raw nerves" being hit on this thread and I don't feel like taking the time psychoanalyze it all....;))
Someone up there ^ made an interesting point re: the kids since one has already been arrested for aiding and abetting breaking/entering/theft.
Perhaps she needs to ride herd on the little monsters....:))
I expect I've made "enemies" tonight over this infinitely ridiculous "issue".
C'est la vie, c'est la guerre....:)
[a bike path?!?]...LOL!
Oh, yes, you have bought into the Democratic party official timeline concerning Newt's first wife.
They think it was just fine that he was but a highschool student when that lady started hitting on him. That's consistent with their "abortion on demand" litmus test.
That's why they have to have a leader like Dean who's so pro-abortion that it's difficult to believe that he and his wife aren't in the business.
I"m a journalist, so I do like to see documentation. Thanks for your posts.

[Hey...Leesburg VA has its own personal flock of buzzards...and they hate 'em!]...LOL!"
They're an acquired taste. We learned to market them on Buzzard Day, in mid-March, when the buzzards return to Hinckley Ridge. It isn't exactly swallows at SanJuan Capistrano, but hey this is the Midwest! We make do.
The Leesburg flock is pointedly obnoxious.
They perch right on people's houses and *barf* all over everything.
[not to mention the damage done by the *other* end]...:))
A large flock has a permanent roost up on the top of "my" mountain.
You don't want to get near it without rubber boots and an umbrella.
I enjoy watching them fly.
Hubby was shocked to see how big they really are when we rounded a bend to find one standing in the middle of the road "eating supper"...LOL!
LOL! I know, they really are gross. But what would you expect of someone whose main diet is roadkill? And yes, they are ominously big sometimes.
Fortunately, I guess, our flock hangs out in a rather large lightly used wooded reservation in the middle of a rural township. Mostly we never see them except when circling overhead.
hehehe!
