I can recall it very clearly. And Krauthammer was just great in his disdain for what Wead had done. How refreshing to have such directed toward an appropriate target for a change.

Last night I saw a few talking heads discussing this on Dennis Miller and that other show that comes on after it (The Big Idea?). All agreed, Republican and demoncrat, that this wouldn't hurt Bush at all, because it just shows that in private conversations that he is the same guy you see in public. He isn't duplicitous. And nothing is really damaging. He isn't a homophobe, etc. The only thing that some might latch on to is that he indirectly admitted that he smoked marijauna, and most people don't even care about that. They said it all made him look pretty good.

And, the demoncrats even suggested that the tapes were all a plot by none other than -- you guessed it -- the crafty Karl Rove! That evil mastermind genius!

Little backround on myself. I am a Republican who voted for Kerry. I can't stand George Bush. However, I am sickened by what this so-called "friend" did here. What a low life, scumbag this guy is. and what a testiment to the rest of the world this is about our country. Islamic people are becoming terrorists because they hear propaganda about how we are evil capitalists who will do anything for money, and sadly this only affirms that. I am an avid reader and love books. We can learn from them now matter what. I even gained knowledge by reading Mein Kumpf for a paper i wrote in school (before any of you get in an uproar about that, I learned how people become brainwashed by bullcrap propoganda, and how we cannot let the mistakes of the past carry in to the future--thats what the paper was about). I thought that a book burning would be wrong for any material until now. This guy is the lowest form of life, and anyone who buys one of his books should be ashamed.
