This is 2005. NOBODY uses a typewriter anymore. Why would he be using a typewriter? It's like writing your ideas down on a napkin. It proves that you're a genius. Tom Wolfe boasts that he types his stuff too.

Old guys still use typewriters. I know several. They like the tactile thing that goes on with using a manual or even electric typewriter.
