LOL:
Congressman Maurice Hinchey, Democrat of New York, was telling a Social Security forum in Ithaca that the fake Rathergate documents had been planted by Karl Rove. Though everyone else on the planet knew they were fake within 23 seconds, Karl cunningly identified the one news team dumb enough to fall for them.

Howdy Calpernia, and thanks for the PING...
I swear, MSM journalists must sit in dark closets, sucking on their thumbs, and pondering what to write about next. Most of the time they sail off of flat planet earth into the dark unknown. What's troubling, is how they somehow find their way back to civilization.

The media expend an enormous amount of energy proving that George W. Bush is unbeknownst to the world living a double-life exactly like the one he lives in public. For some reason this sentence struck me as hysterically funny. Anyway, I heard a pretty good rumor myself - Bush is from Texas. Somebody with a talent for investigative journalism oughta check that one out...

You might remember me as Peter when we left Yale, said Petra.
And now youve come back as yourself, said the president. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...best joke I've heard in years. Dubya is priceless.

Hmm. You dont have to be an old Cold War hand to figure that Congressman Hinchey is an obvious Rove deep-sleeper planted in New York decades ago to make the Democrats look even bigger dopes than CBS . . .
We need our own awards program here. "And the FReepie goes to...."

i love steyn, almost as much as i love our president. When I heard the NYT had tapes of W I thought "oh my god what must be in them that they are going to publish them- it can't be anything good." Then when I read the transcripts I said OMG - W is exactly the same in real life as he is in public life. He completely is a man of his word.
I LOVE IT!! Take that Dowdy and all the shills at the NYT!!

If Steyn isn't an American he should be naturalized and then declared our "columnist-laureate."
None compare. None come close.
I laughed out loud at this article's last few lines.
