So cute!
How about some puppies with hats viewed through a wide angle lens?
Laz inspires me! ;-)
Kyle: So what are you gonna do with all these underpants you steal?
Gnome 1: Collecting underpants is just phase one. Phase one: collect underpants.
Kyle: So what's phase two?
[Silence]
Gnome 1: Hey, what's phase two?!
Gnome 2: Phase one: we collect underpants.
Gnome 1: Ya, ya, ya. But what about phase two?
[Silence]
Gnome 2: Well, phase three is profit. Get it?
Stan: I don't get it.
Gnome 2: (Goes over to a chart on the wall) You see, Phase one: collect underpants, phase two-
[Silence]
Gnome 2: Phase three: profit.
Cartman: Oh I get it.
Stan: No you don't.
Kyle: Do you guys know anything about corporations?
Gnome 2: You bet we do.
Gnome 1: Us gnomes are geniuses at corporations.
Well, since the Fed would manage your electronic transactions (as they manage all credit card transaction), we would be them. =(
Sorry, no free lunch.
You know, you've given me a brilliant idea.
I think I'll create my own complete virtual world, and never ever let anyone else in...

Obviously a mistake in a capitalist society.
Every bank has one.
My questions have been serious, but I see you are starting to get the bunny-pancake-kitty pictures.
Consider yourself lucky you don't see any lightning pictures. ;^)
Yeah, and in my experience, they are called the 'loan officer'.
I've never seen Laz on a less than seroius post.
Some folks just can't ever cut loose and have fun.
The Nigerians are gonna love this.
Hasn't the government already come close to eliminating payrolls? I mean, 15% to Social Security, 3% to Medicare, 3% to Unemployment Insurance, 20-40% Income Tax Witholding, etc.
We might was well just pay everything to the government and live on handouts like the Communists we are fast becoming.
You signed up today to post this crapola? Where's the fly swatter?
I got out of self employment because my boss was a stupid jerk.
2. In contrast, you would only need to deposit a fixed sum of funds into your employees virtual bank. That takes care of them and eliminates your payroll.
1 - Faulty premise. Payroll is not the "majority of you companies overhead" expense. The cost of administrating wages and salaries is significant, but it is not the majority of any company's overhead (at least not of any company that will be in business for long).
2 - Whether you are depositing a fixed sum of funds into employees' virtual banks, or depositing their wages/salary into their bank accounts (direct deposit), or printing physical paychecks, you are still expending cash to fund these wages. This system you are describing does not eliminate the cost of labor nor the cost of managing payroll expenses. It just reclassifies it. Furthermore, it would actually create a third methodology while not replacing either of the existing two (direct deposit vs physical paychecks) and therefore create duplicate administrative tasks.
An interesting concept in theory, but not something that would add any value in this world that we call "reality".
