I won't be watching and I will go so far as to write a letter of protest to any company that advertises on it. I may even tell said advertisers that I'll be deciding not to buy any product or service they sell.

ME TOO. In fact I will be writing CBS and any conservative Christian organizations to PROTEST loudly !! This is the last nail in Terri's coffin. How terrible for her parents!!!!!!

Maybe it was a joke for April 1st. Yet how close to the truth possibly? It's another wait-and-see

WOW! We've just started another rumor here on FR!

Would be interesting to find out how many of the characters in this story will benefit from this windfall.

Dean Cain needs to be careful... he played Scott Peterson, and now he may take the role of Michael Shiavo?

p.s.--i like Dean Cain...

Well, the polls have switched recently. Let's see what happens now. All the pundits have been quoting polls which show that 70% of Americans wanted to support MS. Now it's totally switched. What will they say now?

I'm hoping this is a bad joke, Jenny.

I also understand Televion's "May Sweeps" for ratings. CBS is also planning to show a biopic on Elvis. Which should quickly and quietly tank in the ratings. Much like their film on the Reagans.

I wouldn't put it past Les Moonves to profit from someone's misery and legal murder.

Jack.

And you had better believe that the story will be all about how she wanted to die and that the court just carried out her wishes. It will also blame her for the condition that caused her temp problem.

If not an April Fool joke, I'm looking forward to boycotting sponsors.

...Guess he wrong, do you think?
....
Yeah. Guess he made a mistake.

But, heh, the precedent was set for the state to support hearsay in life determinations, a major step forward for the euthansia movement in expanding the ability to freely decide who lives and who dies. The judicial system assumed power over the executive branch, the judicial system ignored the congress, ignored a subpoena from the federal government, and ignored a law enacted by the legislature.

Oh, and the judiciary failed to protect the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for one that could not speak for herself.

Sure sorry about that.

Ignorance or willful effort to promote above results - who knows?

CBS & Michael Schiavo--Yep, we know where the bias will be. The murderer gets to play the bereaved hubby all over in front of millions. Oh, and there will be tears aplenty from him. (sarc)

What is needed is to sue the ba$tard for killing Terri, for complicity of the deadspice gang of lawyers after some real investigation. Then make a movie how it really happened!

It will be fascinating to see CBS manages to groom Michael's loving selfless image for the conclusion

Where he cremates the evidence (err....body) and buries, scatters, or dumps his wife's ashes in an unmarked plot so her family can never know where to memorialize her mortal remains. Whadda guy.

Not only that, but any value in the mpost mortem books, stpories movies etc -that accumulates to Terri Schiavo's "estate" - will go to Michael. If he divorced her, the family would inherit.

However, with this guy, I suspect it was all about "control" and revenge, to the point of obliterating her body and concealing the ashes final resting place from her parents. The final conclusion of a white hot obsessive rage at Terri for threatening to divorce him, and at her family for threatening his "control" and thus, his manhood.

Pitiful control freak to the max.

Every penny had been spent on Terri's "rehab".

Right, sure, whatever. Except the $397,000 paid to FELOniouS. Bet the caller didn't mention that.

And where are all the feminists??

They are still angrier with their mommies and daddies than with their boyfriends. So the extreme right wing Schindlers are the real bad guys.

I told my husband that her parents should just act like it's fine and all to take her ashes. Then have their own memorial and state that their's would be the official memorial and then get a plot at a cemetary near them and tell the public they are welcome to visit her there. Then MS loses ALL control. They play into his hands everytime they fight him at this point. As hard as it may be, they need to cut the cord. My motto: Don't ever let them see you sweat.

This jacka@@ got away with murder. If I were him, I would run for cover. To exploit the situation would not be to wise. Too many nuts out there that are upset enough.

Never ever watch the movie nor read the book. Tell everyone you know. Never, never. Make sure CBS hears from you. Please, everyone, contact CBS. They will be the first to make the offer.
How pathetic.
