I made up a sign for a Bush Rally in Santa Monica that said "Liberate the People's Republic of Santa Monica" and got huge applause from the DIMocrats in attendance protesting Bush's appearance.

TIME Magazine editors, are you trying to be the Dan Rather of the print media? Nice going!
We will have to remember to bring this up, over-and-over, as we examine Time's credentials during the next couple of election cycles.
Unrelated, the Time editors managed to find an exquisitely softened photo of Barbara Boxer in the same issue (makes her look 90 yrs younger.) The photo is as gooshie as the 10 softball questions for the intellectually challenged senator.

BUT time carefully cut out the "Communists for Kerry," "Criminals for Gun Control," and "Liberating Iraqi Children from Tyranny is Costing too Much," presumably in a Dan Ratheresque effort to create a false impression that these were actual protestors.
Rather pathetic.
