No. Have you seen Mystic River? At the end, the victims father (Penn) kills the guy he thinks killed his daughter, only to find out an hour later that it was the wrong guy. See? They "killed an innocent man". That is the essence of the anti-death penalty argument these days. (In real life, they have found DNA that exonerates some people who have already been executed.)

BTW did he ever lock up his weapons, or does he just let people steal them?

Oh OK. It's natural to think of DMW though when Death Penalty related films come up and especially in relation to Penn. But I see your point.

Love it! I wasn't going to see that film in the first place, but Debbie just slashes and burns it!

So, still haven't seen it, just like I won't watch the hunt for red october or silverdo or the lethal weapons series any longer.

Dip wads don't need my money, BTW I do make exceptions for Sgt York and 1776.

That just rambled along like a drunk at the bar.

You write where you want to and let her write where she wants to.

Thin Red Line. He played a "battle-hardened" First Sgt. Implausible for those of us who served. But I suppose he did a decent job.

Mystic River was pretty good.

I don't expect good politics from actors or good acting from politicians.
I put Arnold firmly in the politician category!

"The plot mystified and bored super lefty Rex Reed."

It must be REALLY bad if it has a leftist message and he STILL hated it.

True. The astounding thing is that if they played it straight, showed the terrorists as Arab Muzzies, and showed the UN to be the corrupt cesspit it really is, they'd have one of the year's greatest blockbusters. Then I'd gladly go to see it; now, I won't.

"What was Sean Penn"s last great movie"

I think it was that "Mystic River" piece-of-garbage
