I almost never disagree with Rush, but I'm not sure here. I think Bush will get the nominees through; however, I think DeLay and Bolton are both in serious trouble.

My only hope is that if DeLay goes down, he takes everyone in Congress with him, because he knows, they know, we all know, THEY ALL DO IT.

Don't forget the Rep's going flacid on the illegals. Hillary is going to pick our pockets in 2008.

Problem with that is, Delay is itching to get his ethics violation in front of the ethics committee because he knows he's not guilty of anything, which would basically let him off the hook. The Democrats know he's innocent of the charges, so they merrily keep the ethics committee hog-tied, because they know their guy Jim McDermott is guilty as sin.

Nah she will pick your brain, oh wait a minute, there is nothing between your ears, a perfect hillary supporter, nevermind.

If they actually succeed in disqualifying the guy because he "yelled at subordinates," they better be prepared for what's going to hit them with their next presidential candidate.
If their next presidential candidate ever yelled at subordinates, then the picture of John Bolton is going to pop up,
...

That is NOT going to happen.
I have yet to see The Sinkmeister's picture "pop up", who has done infinitely worse that Bolton.

Ain't gonna happen with these linguini spined Senators.

Don't "mis-underestimate" Tom DeLay. He's a fighter and just what we need in the Congress. He has guts! Bolton can still get through if we all band together and let WDC have what for. I think NewsMax has a petition but I stand corrected. C'mon, I was feeling just like this guy did and sometimes we all need a pep talk from Rush.........I feel better anyhow. *~*

....and they're setting themselves up for the same stuff to come right back at them.

I stopped reading this right here.

The Republicans never fight fire with fire. They try to counter the democrats vile attacks by being civil and nice and fail every single time. They allow the MSM to frame them as being in the wrong and never counter by exposing the democrats for the vastness of their corruption. It makes one wonder just what they are afraid of and why are they protecting the scumbag democrats. What do they have to hide?

We've put them in a majority position and we have little to nothing to show for it.

I've had enough, I'm tired of this and I want to see some action. Lets take the fight to these losers now, and get the rules straight before we have to have it out over supreme court nominees.

". . . whatever the cost may be; we shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender. . . "

I still remember how the LA Times would not run stories about Governor Grey Davis's temper because not ENOUGH people would go on record about him throwing things (lamps, coffee mugs, whatever was on his desk) at his subordinates and aids, but with fewer folks and even more flimsly stuff they went after Arnold.

I think both DeLay and Bolton will be exonorated. Why? Because the Right is learning, albeit slowly, how to be Winners. I think this weekends blitzkrieg with Bill Frist is going to help put some steel in the linguini-spined Republican's backbones. Surrender is not an option, and it will be made clear by votes. We put them there, we can take them out. Finally I think our Senators are starting to get the drift. Olympia Snowe has shown signs of realizing her very tenuous grasp on her seat depends on this issue. I doubt it will take long before others take heed and follow through. John McCain can't afford to cut and run, since Arizona has been essentially raped by it's Courts. Nevermind the voters, just let an activist judge rule. The people are getting tired of this nonsense. The majority will out, in the end. The important thing, for those who like their cushy jobs, is to be on the winning sides when the smoke clears. I like the Republican's odds. Heck, I may head to Las Vegas and put down a few bucks...and give the finger to Harry Reid along the way.
