The article is footnoted, if you click through to the original article, they're there.
Of course, DePaul is also well known as the school that suspended Thomas Klocek, who spoke up for Israel in from of some Palestinian groups. Here is just one article an that case.

Probably the first thing written by Dershowitz that makes any sense. Noam Chomsky is the typical Lib college professor.

Alan Dershowitz makes sense here. The problem is that he has taken up so many terrible causes that it forever tainted him.
I doubt his writing here will change the behavior of his attackers here. He is very bright, and aggressive. It is just a little bit too late.

Probably the first thing written by Dershowitz that makes any sense. Isn't Dershowitz (along with Christopher Hitchens) one of the few leftists that actually support GWB and the War on Islamofascism?

Dershowitz has certainly gotten an education about the American left. If only he would allow this to open his eyes as to issues other than Israel.

This is probably the only thing in the entire universe that Dershow-off-itz and I agree on.................

I agree. Alan Dershowitz ain't my favorite lawyer either but it seems he's got a legitimate gripe here, and has been the subject of a well coordinated smear attack. I guess like Savage says, when the jooze pack their little valises and vacate Isreal everything will just be peachy in the middle-east (tongue in cheek of course).

and yet why oh why hasn't Dershowitz of all people slammed a libel/slander suit against these guys, the media remembers successful libel suits too, since it is clear all the accusations are indeed false and provable.....mind you these lefties likely have no money, spend all they earn still....
To: bassmaner
Yes in fact Dershowitz says even torture is acceptable in times of war......including the war on terrorism, if it means saving lives........(a fan of "24" maybe?)
To: raivyn
So Chomsky says "if I go through the book more carefully, [Id] probably discover that the whole thing is a fraud", and that the book was probably concocted by "some intelligence agency." The only other person I can think of who would routinely make this sort of wild unsupported assertion with such supreme self-confidence is a fictional one, Ignatius J. Reilly.
Perhaps Chomsky believes Dershowitz should be lashed till he drops?

As Noam Chomsky looked across the chasm to Abraham, he asked "but Father Abraham, can't you warn my brethen of the truth so that they may not end up in this place?"

A public figure like Dershowitz has a snowball's chance in Mecca of winning a libel suit. Plus, the media would help Chomsky turn the case into a three ring circus, complete with daily pro-Pali student demonstrations at the courthouse.
