Tripp was most definitely NOT sleazy. Her taping (and her advice to save that dress) saved not only herself but very possibly Monica's life. Monica will one day realize that. How easily Monica could have ended up one distraught intern who "suddenly had committed suicide." Tripp knew ALL TOO WELL that such a thing could happen.
Tripp was forced into becoming a whistleblower. And she took the most incredible shame from the entire nation (well, half of them) about her looks, which were perfectly fine looks -- if she were your aunt or sister, you'd not mind her looks one bit! And she felt pressured to have a doctor carve up her face! What a shame on this country.
I think it must have taken HUGE amounts of faith and courage to go through what she went through. I would like to read her version of the story one day if she writes about it.

I think Nixon was flawed, but Bill Clinton was not just flawed, he was mostly one massive bundle of flaws with intermittant instances of non-flawed behavior, few and far between. Great comparison.

THIS scumbag was also involved in illegal break-ins and had to have Reagan save his worthless azz.

The first time in history a Pulitzer Prize was awarded for a ghostwritten book. Don't knock JFKs Pulitzer. His daddy paid damn good money for it.

Can anyone even remember now what Nixon did that was so terrible?I guess Ben has forgotten that Nixon centralized power/programs. He took us completely off of the gold standard. Then he leaves & gets an apartment in NY courtesy of David Rockefeller. Watergate was a nothing. In fact many feel that it was a breakin associated with payments from Howard Hughes. Again a so-called conservative sends us more liberalism.

Excellent point on Tripp. She went to the proper authorities, Felt went to his 'friend' at the WA Post.
