It's too bad that you think so. There are good people in my agency who spent their days keeping bugs, drugs, and thugs out of this country.

No. It's not. But you might be surprised how much knowledge of the law they have to have, as well as having the instinct to send somebody for a secondary search even if everything on the surface looks okay. We catch many bad guys based on the CBP Officer's gut instinct.
Seriously, the work situation must have been terrible. the sexual harrassment policies are NOT that difficult to follow, and if she won the suit, it had to have been one of fear for her. I feel sorry for her.
Most of the cases of SH I have read about, I think it is a gold digger trying to get a free ride, but , somehow, I have different feeling about this one......Bob
I have no idea why someone would work on the border with an advanced degree. The fact that she chose that position, for whatever reason, doesn't make CBP officers "hacks".

We have some dirty ole men here who can't find their own pictures, so they chaw, spit in the lard can and want others to find their wimmen for 'em.
Don't be that narrow-minded. There are people at that and other Ports with PhD's and all kinds of degrees and linguistic abilities.
