Because there are some who will say "show your papers, citizen" as if there's no place for that sort of thing?

they'll find some other way of committing voter fraud.

If it isn't when the ballots are cast, the fraud will occur when the votes are counted.

Democrats would prefer no voting.

They think people are too dumb to vote for them anyway.

They just want that one-party system that is prevalent in all the big cities.

It's never about citizenship for them.....it's all about greed and power.

Not to worry, Jan Brewer, when Presidente Bush sprinkles the illegals with Holy water as he makes them highly esteemed guest workers with extraordinary rights and privileges, the only ID necessary will be the Matricula Consular. That should narrow your list down a bit.

As usual, it's a Democrat who opposes any measures to curb voter fraud. Gee, I wonder why that is....

Keep talking and chewing gum, Democrats. Republican's won't have to bother campaining next election, just let Democrats whine and bitch and bury themselves in the process.
Notice Democrats have no counter proposals to offer.

Provisional ballots are a prime source of fraud.

I hate to say this but maybe we do need a national voter registration registry so there is no cross border games.
Maybey something along the lines of the NCIC.

I think to vote you should have to provide a valid PHOTO ID that is issued by the state you are voting in.

I remember the long list of valid types of id allow here in Colorado from the last election. I just went to attempt to register my daughter in HS by my new apartment and took my utility bill as proof of residence, as that is one of the valid ID's allowed to vote. Could not use it to register my daughter at school. I say the minimum voting ID should at least be as stringent as what is needed to register at a public school.

They will scream "intimidation"

They'll also scream that it disenfranchises the illegal voter.

I spell my name differently than my "legal birth name" on many documents.(same name. different spelling. I've been doing it so long.) My worry was having to change my signature to the legal spelling. I just spelled it the way I always do. No problem. It's funny. When I had no i.d. everyone was always asking for it. Now no one does.

Oh yeah. Some of the Dem leaders are still moaning about the "stolen" presidential elections of 2000 and 2004 (stolen election=one they didn't win).?

The dems are convinced the elections were stolen because they had them rigged yet the STILL didn't win -ergo the Pubbies must have stolen them.

Quite simple to understand really.
