Then the feds need to investigate the city.
I'm not trying to compare these two things, and I'm in no way apologizing for the seattle police on this incident.
3 weeks is a very long time and something obviously is very wrong with this picture or there is something much bigger going on behind the scenes that we don't know about yet.
are they freepers?
Thanks for the pics. Too bad we can no longer use some words to describe this scum. "Low life trash" will have to do. I'd call them animals but they are lower than that.
What do you bet Maxine Waters will be making excuses for them once they are caught?
Pioneer Square? We used to go down there all the time in the late 80's/early 90's. Saw Alice in Chains/Nirvana/Screaming Trees and a bunch of other great bands there. You could walk around there 2 A.M. without really worrying about it. The cops won't touch this one with a ten foot pole. Seattle used to be a great place.
Plenty of radical islam, comfortable and safe here.
A surprising set of pics for me, however, for Pioneer Square. I am waiting to hear from my fellow freepers here...
Agree, and I have given that some thought.
I can see no reason, if they had the video, not to go public with it to expedite finding these very dagerous suspects, that are currently roaming the streets, possibly looking for other innocent victims.
If a Milwaukee cop looks at a citizen the wrong way these days, it gets reported. I don't think it is quite as bad as what you're saying, but I can see it getting there.
Makes sense as to why the Seattle PD sat on ID'ing the perps for so long.
Mardi Gras, 2001?
If so it wasn't so much the beatings and one beating death it was how Seattle reacted as though nothing happened. Like you said, Seattle could not cover up. This was clear racial black-on-white violence.
If the victims here were also black then maybe Seattle will try to get the bad guys without being prodded from outside. I hope so.
They couldn't cover up because it became a hot item on talk radio all over the country. (When will liberals ever get it, they are no longer information gatekeepers.)
"Seattle Mardi Gras Riots," From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
"In 2001, Seattle, Washington, USA's Mardi Gras celebrations were marred by increasing levels of violence, culminating in "Fat Tuesday" riots in Pioneer Square on February 27 when one man, Kris Kime, was killed, and 70 or more were injured." [End excerpt]
It took a looooong time for Seattle to admit that Mr. Kime died as a result of a beating. Video was used to ID suspects but there was a lot of PC forces at work to just say Mr. Kime, though clearly beaten by black men, died as a result of tripping and hitting his head on the pavement. He was going to the aid of a white women being beaten by the black men.
Lots of whites beaten by blacks and most captured on video. One Asian was arrested for having a gun, he used it to protect himself from being beaten. It was on video. Seattle went after him.
PC Seattle tried to look the other way but pressure from outside Seattle and the rank and file of the police union forced PC Seattle to look for the blacks shown beating white men and women on video.
Why bring this up? Because Seattle's PC crowd will do everything to sweep this under the rug -- unless the victims were also black. In that case, expect Seattle to get the bad guys without being prodded from outside. I hope.
dagerous = dangerous...
This is a load of crap.
Same type of trash killed one guy and beat many others at the Mardi Gras in Seattle two years ago. Cops came hat in hand after the fact then too.
Look at all the cars driving by. One practically runs over one of the victims.
The perp on top reminds me of a heavier-set Al Iverson.
And that sure is a distinctive outfit for the guy in the third pic.
Somebody who knows these guys will come forward to help out, I hope.
pioneer square.....isnt't that also supposed to be the ritzy-zitzy area with all the "fashionable" little stores and gallerys"?...the area with all that "heritage" ?????
Maybe we can find some truth in this story....call in the big guys !
"I'd say the media, the Mayor and Chief of Police have have a lot of very demanding questions to answer."
Here's a question I'd like answered. When are they going to put up slots on the firing squad up for bid? I'd like to be one of the people to help turn these dirtbags turn into pink clouds.
I doubt they had the vid right away. The PD investigation time was probably spent trying to obtain info(the tape), and ID what they thought were locals. Locals however don't go vicious wild like this on their own turf. They're from somewhere else. I'd guess they got the tape close to ~1 week ago with much leg work.
That doesn't fly. This is a public safety issue. If they couldn't ID the suspects, and they had the video evidence early on, (3 weeks ago) they should have gone public with it. Period.
These very dangerous suspects are wandering the streets, possibly looking for other innocent victims. The liability, public safety issue here is *immense*.
Oh, and the TV news in my area is playing the tape, and it appears the victims were not black.
