Pittman agreed, calling the pro-Bush crowds "very cordial, like regular people" while saying the anti-war demonstrators seemed "confused."LOL. He got that right. Heh.

Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry and Hanoi Jane
aren't behind the anti war crowd
needs to get a clue.
Lame Stream Media : News Flash!
President Bush already met with Cindy Sheehan months ago for over 10 minutes.
Quit lying!!!!

Great post. However I think Katrina is going to wipe this story out of the headlines like it's going wipe much of S. LA. off the map.

Strange how it took till a Saturday to get superior numbers...?
Not really, "our" people have jobs, "their" people have SSDI and time on their hands.
I would love to be there, but if I don't work, I don't eat.
The beauty of these pigs is that those in the opposition are paying them to be there, and probably had to take off Friday to get there.

Thank you Veronica. Nice...
The numbers thing is always a bit skewed. Let's face it, conservatives are busy supporting themselves and their families, taking care of the kids in school and supporting the community through donations and time. They can't drop everything on a whim and spend months on the ground protesting, or supporting. We're weekend warriors at best.
The left can send out legions of those on welfare, unemployment, service agency employees or those whose salaries are derived from tax dollars and collegiate students obtaining extra credit.
It seems as if no one with deep pockets sees a vested interest in backing the right. It is obvious that someone with deep pockets or access to tax dollars is funding the left. Who could afford to travel and camp out for weeks the way these folks do? Who pays for the hundreds of buses that show up dropping off the socialists?
When I see these numbers show up to support the right, I am both amazed and heartened.
The "You don't speak for me Cindy" tour and counter to Cindy Sheehan was a great effort. Excellent.

Referring to the president, Perkins said, "We think he lied and got us into this mess." Just once, I'd like to see a proponent of the "Bush lied" meme produce an example of a specific lie that President Bush has told. If they're going to convince anyone, they have to have stronger evidence than "Bush lied, cause I said he did!"
Glad to see the large pro-troop turnout, BTW. It would be nice if we could counter the appeaseniks every time they show up, but I realize the difficulty in that, seeing that we have jobs and they don't.

This number was not reported on ABC nor NBC Nightly News last night. Their coverage indicated a handful of pro " war " supporters.
And the focus was still on Sheehan and her rag tag bunch.
CNN and FOX were not much better.
ABC radio news mentioned the " dueling protests," but, only talked about Sheehan.

When is SH going to really show support for troops by going to gitmo, afganistan or iraq?
Sorry I forgot the mouse won't let him.

My local paper "The Orange County Register" had this event as the headline front page news. Only problem was they showed the AP picture with relatively few people in the picture supporting Bush and a big crowd behind Cindy supporting the anti war crowd in that picture. Very dishonest and deceiving. I did not bother to read the AP text after seeing the pictures.

Does anyone know how long Shee(hanigan) actually stays on site? Does she remain all day and then off to the ''safe house'' or is she just there for the photo ops.

A McLennan Sheriff Deputy warns an unidentified Cindy Sheehan supporter that she will be arrested if she does not stay on the Camp Casey 1 side of the road across from the pro-Bush protesters near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005. Several thousand people descended on President Bush's adopted hometown Saturday, either attending a rally supporting him or arriving for the last leg of an anti-war demonstration near his ranch. Look who AP reporter couldn't or didn't want to identify.
Is that Medea Benjamin, the founder of Code Pink?

Your first mistake may have been actually purchasing the OCR.
I read all the leftist rags I can, if I can find them in the trash. Never purchase any newspaper that foments and glorifies treason.
The only way these pigs are going to go down is if people shut off their revenue.

Stateside rallies aren't enough?
How much 'blood' and effort and 'support' do you want from this man anyway?
It seems to me that 'sticking' it to the libs and getting the message out that we DO support our troops and we DO suuport our President and we DO support our effort against global terrorists is doing MORE then his fair share.
BUT that's just me ...
