As one man in Houston said today. LA evac, "If they had shot these thugs at the beginning and made an example they could have stopped this." Must have been a Repub.Definitely it wasn't the governor.

I figure that one keeps their eyes peeled looking for renegade road blocks. If one sees one then soften them up from about 1200 yards away with the .50BMG.
Next go in fast with both AR-15's shooting out of the back seat windows. Front passenger using the 25rd 12ga street sweeper for clean up. The driver, having trained to shoot left handed manning a Glock while driving.
They would never know what hit them when the Eaker clan rolled by!

Whaaaa ? Yer saying ya wouldn't stop and try to reason with the
armed looters poor hungry abandoned folks begging politely for food and water ?
Portable welder, a fuel trailer ,a dump truck with the snow plow attached and reinforced, scrap steel from the city yard here in poohville is my mad max fantasy roadblock runner plan.
I saw one guy and his lady towing loaded kayaks on little trailers with their bicycles and they got further / faster that any car or truck trying to escape NOLA's traffic jams.
I purchased a KLR650 Motorcycle after the last big quakes out in Kali afew years ago and observed how well those bypassed all the damage. It has range and ability to get through the jams or damaged roads so it got a place in the garage. Good little rig.
The USMC 1030 (klr650 w/ a diesel engine) bike is diesel they get 110 or more MPG and the bikes all have a 6 gallon tank. That'll get me past the no fuel stations close to a disaster and if rationed to 5-10 gallons per customer elsewhere it'll top off the tank every time.
Plans are all out the window when pucker factor takes over so have what ever in place in a turn key ready status is my suggestion.....

That would cut down on the mileage indeed.....:o)
Honestly it's my ride too and from work also due the neat gas price thang going on right now. It's a good all purpose motorcycle to consider. We used em in the service so I bought one of my own when I retired.....
Give it a peek vs yer neighbors window ya lil perv !
Stay safe Eeeeek !

I suggest a krinkov and a 12 gauge l0l but everyone is taking pistols. I would suggest at a very minimum two armed individuals. One with an AR-15 to reach out and touch some one at a greater distance than a shotgun and you can carry a lot of ammo. The second individual would have a shot gun that has a very calming effect on a group of people that are less than 50 yards from you. Both should also have 19ll 45 ACPs as a side arm. If they need the pistols everything has already went to hell and they are just trying to to survive into the next 5 seconds of the future.
