This had to do with flooding the whole world.

I am reminded of the story of the flood in the book of Genesis. The population of the earth was destroyed because of the unrepentant violence and depravity that overtook it.
I am reminded of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. A city was destroyed because of the unrepentant violence and depravity.
I am reminded of the story of Ninevah and of Jonah. That city was spared because a man of God preached repentance and those in the city did so and were spared.
Let us hope and pray that those in New Orleans will heed the warning that has been given them.

And what kind of a noise annoys an oyster?
Sheesh. Perverts aside, there will be no shortage of port hands, refinery and platform workers, and roughnecks unless the ILA do something stupid, which, while I concede that this is ordinarily quite possible, is not in the cards under present-day circumstances in what's left of the Big Sleazy.

This is absolutely the reason why New Sodom was smote, according to Dr. Michael Savage.

The point being that the port brings its own business. It can't be JUST port hands, roughnecks, and the like unless you want to operate it like a military base with a commissary.

I'm beginning to understand why prisons in the US are isolating homosexuals in their own wings and exercise yards where the other prisoners can't get at them. When the other prisoners can get at them, they generally try to kill them. Maybe it's the behavior that homosexuals exhibit in places like New Orleans that makes other inmates want to kill them.

The stench from the overwhelming odor of the human excrement and urine from the ruptured sewer lines in the flood waters, probably has the homosexuals in a state of spasmatic and uncontrollable esctacy. They can't help it-they were twisted that way during sex education in our highly enlightened public school systems.

If they carry on as obnoxiously there as they do in Nawlins, it's kind of easy to see why.

I can't quite believe that God's hand was punishing all of New Orleans. In the old testament, He only did that when there was not one righteous person. Why is SF still standing, San Diego, NY, Boston, Miami, on and on it goes....there are lots of areas that really pander to the gay community.
I wish I could have seen Jonah telling them to repent...I wonder if he was like a street preacher, or if there was a call to the God he loved and feared because he had heard directly from Him?
I don't know how we reach people with harshness and self righteousness, (and name calling too--that always attracts people to what you're trying to promote.) Seems like if we took it one person at a time and really shared the gospel emphasizing repentance and a new life it would make a difference.

I certainly don't have any answer other than to try to figure out what Jesus and the apostles did, which basically seems to be calling for repentence and sharing the gospel.
"From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."" Matt 4:17
